After getting back from Thailand on the 4th-- it seemed like the rest of the month flew by. Here is what we were up to.
Lincoln loves to go to Home Depot! Here he is testing out a dog house. We finally got around to painting the little table we made for Lincoln. He wanted to be part of all the action!
I just love sleeping pics. It reminds me that of how sweet these little kids of mine are.
Our little eater--- never any complaints from her!
Norah loves that she is big enough to play in the tube with Linc. They love playing together. Funny thing though, is that Lincoln still HATES getting water anywhere near his face or in his eyes. It is still a fight everytime I wash his hair. Norah on the other hand can have water dumped all over her and could care less. Let's hope she stays that way.
This is what it is like when I try to exercise when Lincoln is awake. It is like I am a human jungle gym and he has to part of everything I do. So usually if I don't get my workout done before he wakes up, it usually doesnt happen--- or not a very intense workout anyway.
Drama... Drama.. Drama... the life of a 2 year old. During this 'spilled milk' incident, Lincoln purposely hit his hand against the cup- obviously knocking it on the floor and spilling the milk. Not 2 seconds later he was freaking out because he wanted some milk, in his blue cup! He had a major breakdown because I wouldn't give him new milk.
Poor Norah has to put up a lot with Lincoln being her older brother. This happened a number of times. Lincoln getting all the stuffed animals, books, blankets, pillows (pretty much anything he could find) and put them in the crib before I realized they were awake in the morning. Norah usually just laughs while this is going on until a corner of a book smacks her in the head.
I came into the kitchen and noticed that Lincoln had managed to climb up on the counter and get the box of wheat chex out. He then dumped them on the chair and went to town eating them. As I walked in he said, "Mom, these are yummy," and continued to eat all that was left in the box and on the chair.
Norah's new obsession is pulling all the books off the shelves.
We felt like having a Iowa Hawkeye kind of day..... we miss Iowa- but not the cold! Love these 2 cuties.
We still love having Andrew over once a week. We were brave and ventured out to the Children's Museum and Town Square one day.
Playing with magnets.
And watching some Cars.We also had Friday night Family Date night. We had a picnic and went for a bike ride/stroller walk up on the Dixie hill Red Rocks.
Lincoln is getting pretty good and pretty fast on is Strider. He only had one big crash as he was crusing down a hill. I guess we need to start enforcing the helmet. :)
Rylee had her 5th Birthday party at Jumpin' Jacks and Lincoln was lucky enough to be invited. He had a great time with his cousins!
Daddy and Norah picking up the Pecans off the ground!
This kid refuses to take naps--- I mean refuses. He will fight and fight and fight if I try to get him to take one. But he gets so tired by 4 oclock or so and will often fall asleep where ever he is. Falling asleep in the cart at Target was one of his more unique positions. He stayed asleep for quite awhile!
Norah thinks she is big time driving the truck!
Pretty sure Lincoln had something to do with this as well.
Having church at 9, makes it hard for Norah to get her fast nap in(which is usually around 1030). She refuses to sleep at church so by the time we get home and feed her she is pretty much falling asleep as she eats!
Neighbors that were nice enough to let Lincoln go for a ride.
