February

3 months of smiles for this little nugget!

He is growing too quickly.  He already thinks he owns the place.  I mean check him out on the King size bed. ha.

Whitney and Josh were so kind and came up to St. George to watch our kids while we were in Cabo!  I think by the time we were home they were ready to be done. We were so grateful for all they did and the kids loved it!
Adam was sure to get each of the kids their own little coke bottle from Mexico. They were happy to be able to chug it when we got home.

We also got our own robes as a gift in Mexico. Norah and Cade loved getting cuddled up in them. Lifestyles of the rich and famous for sure.
We pulled out the Sunroc onesie and sure enough it fit Damon just about right.  We are grateful for all that Sunroc has done for us and the employment it has given Adam.  They are a great company to work for.

Cade is more of a character every month.  This moment he brought an egg over to me asking if it was a chicky. After explaining to him it ins't and that he needs to be very careful with it he responded, " Yes mom, I built it a nest."
We have loved the warmer weather and being able to play outside on the deck!
Cade always seems to have some sort of 'shoot gun'.

He can drive us all a little crazy with how busy he is but look at that little angel face when he is sleeping. Boy we love him.

Cade's hair was getting so long and a little out of control.  We thought about taking him somewhere but figured that could be a disaster so instead I took it into my own hands.  I must admit it was not my best work and it took a lot of screaming, candy. and Adam holding him down to get it done but we did it.  And although I loved his long hair, he is still our handsome Caders.

Lincoln had his 1st Chinese New Year Program. His class had a couple of numbers. Too cute and fun even though we didn't have a clue what they were saying and it sounded like a bunch of little kids just screaming at us. ;)

Lincoln had a wrestling camp. The first day I had to take him into sign up so I had Cade along. Of course Cade just couldn't sit there on the side. He had to keep running out on the mat and join the fun!!  He's the little guy in the middle of the 3 standing on the side.
The Merinos came down to stay with us while Bella had a soccer tournament. We always love cousin time.

Lincoln must have got cold one night because he got out of bed, got in his sleeping bag and lied right by the heater half under his bed.

Another quick stop at PV. We were only there in the evening and it was freezing but the kids were still determined to go play in the snow for a bit!

Cabo Getaway

We got the chance to go on an amazing work perk trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a few days.  Even though Damon was only 3 months old I knew that I wanted and needed this little get away with my hubby---
When we arrived we took a taxi to our home for a few days. Not too shabby of views.

The next morning we headed out on our Whale watching tour.  The boat ride itself was a ton of fun and Adam ended up on the wrong side of the boat and was drenched. We both got wet and we had a fun time trying to spot the whales breeching. We saw a view good ones and it was neat to learn a little bit about the whales.

We had to stop and take some Pics are the 'arco cabo san lucas'

The next day we went out of Cabo a bit to a national park and went snorkeling. The ride down there in our van was a little bumpy... especially since we were in the very back.  We made it, got our wet suits on, and headed out. We had 3(or 4 I can't remember) different stops where we got to do snorkeling.   It was a lot of fun. The first 2 stops weren't much to look at. We did get to swim with some sea lions so that was pretty cool.  The last dive was the best and we saw a ton of really cool, neat, unique, and colorful fish. The last dive def made it worth it.

On our way back to our place, we stopped at the Tropic of Cancer line.

Later that night we went on a Sunset Cruise.  We got some fun couple time in, relaxed, and enjoyed the sunset and views of the amazing homes that are along the coast (the place we are staying at being one of them).

We were there with 5 other couples from Sunroc or their customers.  It was a lot of fun to get to know them.
Adam and Mark just shooting the breeze.
Adam pointing up to the place where we are staying.

The next day, Adam and I went down to the beach below our house to check it out. It was the perfect walking beach but the waves are super strong with a horrible current. There were signs all over that say to stay out of the water-- so we happily obliged.

More random pics of the trip...

I loved all the fresh food, tacos, quac, salsa!  It was true Mexican food!  We were grateful to have been given the opportunity to get away from the normal hustle of life and see more of this beautiful world. Thank you Sunroc!
