Jazz game... Aquarium...

Adam had tickets through work for a Jazz game- as well as a conference to attend in Salt Lake so we made a little trip out of it. We left Lincoln at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the evening and met up at California Pizza Kitchen with one of Adam's work clients and his son for dinner. We finished just in time to head to the game.  I always love Jazz games and it is always nice to have free- good seats. The Jazz ended up beating the Wizards so that always makes for a fun evening. After the game we headed back out into the FREEZING COLD and headed back to South Jordan.  

The next day while Adam was at his Conference me and Lincoln mostly just hung out with Grandma at her house.  The next day we ventured out to the Aquarium and Lincoln Loved it.  He kept running from one display to the next saying "more, more, more."  Although he loved the fishes and other animals, I think his favorite was the room with a steering wheel where he could pretend to drive a ship.  He did not want to leave.

Sat. we went to Daniel's (adam's buddy) new house to visit with him and his family.  After a little visit we all headed downtown to the City Creek Shopping Center.  We had never been so we wanted to check out for ourselves all the cool stuff we had heard about it.  Lincoln, Sammie, and Christian had a great time playing on the dinosaurs in the kid's area.

We headed back to St. George Sat. evening but on our way down we stopped in Provo at UVU to watch the UVU Wrestling team at a dual match they had. Brian, Christian, and Sammie also came- the kids liked running around the bleachers and Adam loved being able to watch live wrestling.  

After the dual we headed home and the weather wasn't too great-- fog and a bit of snow. Just as we were pulling into Santa Clara, Lincoln decided he needed to throw up all over the place. Poor kid and poor mom and dad who have clean up the whole mess!  

We had a great time and always enjoying seeing family.  

Merinos in St. George

We always love visitors so we had a blast with Carlos, Rachael and their kids. St. George was celebrating their birthday so there was so much free stuff to do and we stayed extra busy.
We started off the day by going on the carousel- It was Lincoln's first time going and after about 4 times going we had to call it good.

We then ventured up to the Dixie Red Rock to do a little hiking. Lincoln thought he could do everything on his own and didn't want any help from anyone.  Pretty sure he would have walked off the side of the cliffs if we weren't there monitoring.  Lincoln also loved having his cousins around to play with!

After our hike we headed to get free cookies and rootbeer floats compliments of the  city.  Yum.

Swimming at Sand Hallow was next on the agenda.

We finally ended the day with delicious Dutchoven Pizza- compliments of Adam and then roasted marshmallows in our stove.  The kids loved it. 

We had a Blast with the Merions and can't wait for our next visitors.  

January Fun (in the sun)!

We had a week during January that was extra nice and warm.... Lincoln and I took advantage of it with walks and trips to the park. When at the park I have to keep my eye on him carefully cause he is a little daredevil and thinks he can do everything that the bigger kids do...  We LOVE living in Santa Clara where there is no snow and we can wear t-shirts outside to the park in Jan.  Yay!
Often during our walks he will almost be asleep by the time we get home.

 He was in pure heaven--- and especially loves the big slides.

 Whenever it is time to leave--- he puts up quite the fight!  He could play all day outside.

  Eating Breakfast- He takes after his mom and loves his cold cereal and fruit every morning.

 Brushing his teeth has always been quite the challenge.  He looks cooperative here but lets just say it is never that easy.

 His Great Aunt Carol sent him a bunch of Iowa Hawkeye gear for Christmas.  He loves it and we love it!  He is great at pointing out the 'Hawk' whenever he sees the yellow logo anywhere.
