Christmas Eve & Morning.

For Christmas Eve we headed to Nana and Pop's for a dinner and quick program.  We didn't have too many young ones around so Whitney was a good sport and played Mary.  Rylee was the angel, Jackson was Joseph, Lincoln was all 3 wisemen, and Channing played the shepherds.

Whitney also had her debut concert on the cello and I was talked into playing a few songs on the violin-- very very simple Christmas songs!
After we left Nana and Pops we drove around looking at Christmas lights and once Lincoln was in bed we set up our little Christmas.  It was a nice relaxing evening!
On Christmas morning as soon as Lincoln walked into the room and saw his little bike he ran over to it... he knew exactly who it was for.
He was smiling from ear to ear and had to give it a try.
He'll be zooming around before we know it.
With his car play mat I made for him--  This was a lot of fun to make!
Adam was also spoiled by Santa and got a new gun for Christmas.. I finally got a camera so I won't just have to take pictures from my phone!  Yay!
We then went up to Nana and Pops and Lincoln got some trucks that he was thrilled about. (and scared when he realized they would go on their own).
Adam and I got a fancy food dehydrator that I can't wait to use-- No more borrowing my Moms!
Christmas was a huge success. It was fun to be able to spend it with just our little family!
After eating some lunch and packing up our little car we headed up to South Jordan to spend a week with the Butterfields!

Pre-Christmas Activities!

We had a great time doing preparing for Christmas by doing different activities. Lincoln is just starting to enjoy doing activities so it was fun to start some traditions.
Went to the temple to look at lights and see the nativity.  Lincoln could hardly contain himself with all the lights.
Went to Tuacahn to see the 'Live Nativity'.  This was just a place you could take your picture there.
Went and saw Santa... Lincoln loved Santa from a distance but as soon as we handed him over to sit on his lap he instantly freaked out.  I love the look that was captured.  Needless to say he was not a Santa fan.
Making tree ornaments.  Lincoln only tried to eat it once.... once he realized it was nasty he had no interest.
Made Graham Cracker houses.. Used hot glue to put them together and I must say this is the way to go... so so so much easier and quicker.
Lincoln (and Mom) def ate their fair share of frosting and candy-- but surprisingly Lincoln actually would put candy onto his house.  I would put a bunch of icing on it and he would lie the candy on top of it.
He mostly just wanted to keep stacking stuff on top of the house---
As you can tell by the mess on his face, in his hair, and on his shirt he enjoyed his first gingerbread house making!

December fun.

As always December was busy with lots of fun .
Here is a little bit of our Non-Christmas activities.
Wrestling with Dad on the Quilt that I FINALLY finished.  It only took me a year to get around to quilting and binding it.  :)

A Quick trip to California to see Adam's Grandma who isn't in very good health.
I finally got California's picture crossed off my list.
There was lots of driving. Lincoln was a stinker and a trooper.  As long as he had food or a movie going he was fine.  Other than that he wasn't too happy about being stuck in the back seat.
 A picture with Grandma Penny!

Making messes and having fun with toys.
Jumping on beds.
Being cute and getting lots of crazy bed head hair!
Playing with cousins.... although Lincoln, Channing, or Andrew don't look too happy about it.
Boxing with Claire!
Lincoln was loving it!
and finally getting to meet Little Isaac!!

Family Pics...

On Thanksgiving we thought we would take some quick family pictures-- because we would have someone around to take them. So we got dressed up, grabbed Whitney, and the little point and shoot and took some pics.  I thought they turned out pretty well for our little camera.
 My two handsome boys!

 Lincoln- 19 months old

 My little Cheeseball!
I think this is how Lincoln felt after we had taken pictures for a couple of minutes.  He did not want to sit still anymore.

November Happenings.

We had a great November...
My Mom and Dad and I were out at the garden picking the last of the tomatoes because it was going to  freeze that night.  So we brought Andrew out in the stroller and Lincoln was just running around. We turned around and noticed that Andrew was going to town eating a tomato.  I guess Lincoln was kind enough to snitch a tomato and share with Andrew...  Andrew was loving it!  It was so cute.
Playing with his gloves and hat.
Lincoln is all about climbing.... and then tumbling into his bed.
Just being cute--- this doesn't happen very often so when it does we have to snap a picture.
We went up to Pine Valley to check out the building progress on the new cabin.. it was right after a snow storm..  so fun.
Lincoln loves the TV... especially Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I let him watch tv while I take a shower and get ready--- that way I know he isn't getting in to trouble. The TV is def. a blessing-- and a curse.
Our house has HUGE Trees that have TOns and Tons of Leaves!  Lincoln likes to help and then jump in the pile.
This was the extent of our Black Friday shopping....  Going to Lowes at 9 at night. Everytime Lincoln sees anything resembling a tractor he has to sit on it.
He thought this was more fun this way.
Now onto December!
