Halloween

I wasn't quite sure what to expect this Halloween. We weren't sure if Baby #4 was going to have already made his arrival or not. We knew it was going to be somewhere around this day-- and Marci had been betting that he would be born on Halloween the entire Pregnancy. With him not coming yet, we went on our day as usual.  Lincoln had his School costume parade so Marci walked up to the school to watch him in all his bat glory.  Marci then took Cade and Norah over to the High School to do trick or treating there! Fun times and the kids got loaded with candy. Later that night, Adam volunteered to take the 3 older kids out Trick or Treating a bit while Marci stayed home and passed out candy to the trick or treaters.  Marci was feeling good and no signs of labor all day.  We had a great day...
Lincoln went to Nana's costume box and had been looking forward to being a bat for a few weeks. He was great at reenacting.

Norah had multiple costumes this year but decided on her old bumble bee costume from a couple of years ago! Good thing she is a cute little bee!
Cade didn't like keeping costumes on so really anything we tried on him would come off---- so The dinosaur jacket and tail was the best it was going to be for him.  He at least kept the jacket on for most of the night.
Baby Brother was a little pumpkin in my tummy. I hadn't planned on a costume so last minute I cut some black construction paper out and safety pinned them on my inside out- too tight shirt.  haha. He was part of our little pumpkin patch.  Who knew that only in a couple of hours he was going to join our little family.  I guess he just knew how much Marci did not want a Halloween baby.... so decided to stay in cooking until 12:45 am!  It was the perfect Halloween and the perfect last day for us as a family of 5.

October

October was exciting and busy.... last month of pregnancy! Yay.
Lincoln has been loving his music class and this year they started the piano as part of it. He is already learning so much.
A warm afternoon called for the water table and water balloons.

Halloween haunted houses with chocolate graham crackers was a hit.  Lincoln was very precise in his making, Cade was all over the place and needed dad's help to really get any candy on the actual house and not just in his mouth, and Norah did awesome making hers her own.

Our ward Fall festival was fun as usual. The kids loved getting their faces painted, the cotton candy, and all the fun little games where they earned prizes.

What a great night celebrating my Grandpa and Grandma Barton.  70 Years of marriage--- total marriage goals for sure. haha. Although Adam would have to live to be 99 and I would have to be 97 so that would be a huge accomplishment.  haha. We had a great dinner, learned some fun facts about the 2 of them, and really just celebrated what an amazing couple they are. Love them both!

Lincoln played his 1st year of flag football and had a fun and learning experience.

Skeleton jammies were a big hit!!  And Filters on the iphope were an even bigger hit. Love my silly kiddos.

Aunt Whitney came and hung out for a few days.. she was great with the kids, making cookies and reading them lots of books!

The weather had been so nice we took advantage and went to Snow Canyon for a little afternoon hike.

We went to PV cabin for a night but the only picture I took were of these two cute skeletons drinking hot cocoa.
Lincoln's 1st grade Picture.Teacher Mrs. Nash and Mrs. Wei. Chinese Dual Immersion.
Norah is still loving preschool at Miss Janaes. They took a fun field trip to the fire station.

Adam took Lincoln up to the annual dinner before Deer Hunt. Lincoln was loving the time with lots of family and the fire!

Painting Pumpkins is always a favorite.  Cade did Spiderman, Lincoln did Darth Vader, and Norah did Dory.
Cade is are our crazy little character always keeping us on our toes, busy, laughing, and yelling. ;) oh how I love him.

The Cedar Ctiy was complete. Because Adam helped out in the construction of it we were able to go to the early time to go and check it out. It was beautiful and the kids loved seeing it all. Cade is still talking about the Cedar City Temple.

We had a Wittwer cousin Halloween Party--- The kids all dressed up, played some games, and ate treats.  We wanted a group picture but by the time we got around to it this is all who was left.  :)
The game of Balloon around our ankle and try to not have it popped has lots of laughs, smiles, and some tears too. haha.

We loved the party and Norah was the cutest Tinkerbell around.

Freis fruite stand created a fun pumpkin patch this year. The kids could see all the pumpkins every time we drive down the hill to the valley so we had to go check it out to get all our pumpkins for carving this year. They all loved going from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to find just the right one tp bring home.  They all found 1!  What a perfect fall day.
