Norah - 3 months

Loves to put her hands together and play with them.
Has started to smile all the time.  If you give her attention she will smile right back at you. She loves attention.
She is also really chill baby. She will just hang out in her boppy or lie on the bed or floor by me.
If I am not in the room and she is awake she doesn't like to be by herself. But as long as there are people in the room she is a happy girl.
She is a great sleeper. She usually will wake up around 5 am and eat and then go back to sleep for another three or so hours.
Still has dark hair her bur it has lightened up some and she has lost quite a bit of it.
Is eating every three hours about 4 to 5 ounces during the day. And continues to eat very quickly.  She hasn't thrown up in quite a while.
She loves Lincoln. And although he kisses her more times a day than I can count she tolerates it and loves him being in her face. Most of the time unless he is smashing her.
Is still wearing 0 to 3 months size clothes.
We love dressing her up in girly clothes and headbands and bows.
Still has blue eyes and beautiful eyelashes.
Is a great traveler in her car seat unless she is hungry.
She definitely knows who her mom and dad are and will look our ways when we talk.
Likes her binkie some of the time. If it's right after she eats she wants nothing to do with it but it will keep her content for a while If she is in the mood for it.
Is quite the gassy little girl.
Is our favorite daughter. We love her so much.

Laura's Baby Shower-- Cousins-- Friends.

We had a fun weekend in South Jordan at the end of June.  Adam had a meeting and Laura was having her baby shower for Baby Boston so we decided to make a little trip up. It was so great to see so much family that we hadn't seen since Christmas.  Many of them had never met Norah so we got to show her off as well.  We met up with Erica and Georgia at Wheeler Farm. Even though it was about 1,000 degrees outside, I always LOVE catching up with Erica and Georgia is the cutest thing around!
Lincoln and Georgia.
Lincoln was loving the chickens and especially the rooster when it would 'Cockadoodledoo'
Lincoln giving kisses like he does best-- and Mario giving his death grip hug....
I always like an excuse to do something creative, so it was fun to get to do the Diaper cake and banner for Laura and Baby Boston.
Little man Aggie Tie!
We are so excited for Laura and Jeremy and can't wait to have another little nephew to love on!

June:Garden, PV, Swimming, Summer fun

Summer always seems to busy with every weekend something going on.
The first weekend the youth in our Stake were having Youth Conference in Pine Valley.  We had all the Miamaids stay at our cabin for a couple of nights.  It was the first weekend that our cabin was completed so it was def. broke in having all those girls there. Lincoln loved making indoor smores with all the girls. :)
Norah getting cuter and cuter by the day.
Adam wanted to plant corn this summer---  Lincoln liked to hide in the rows and play in the water when we were watering it.  I guess he really is a true Iowan at heart.
We spent another weekend in Pine Valley and ventured out on a hike/stroller walk up by the lake.  It was nice and cool and fun to get out and explore a bit.

We made it to the pool a couple of times.... Norah's first real dip in a pool.  I think she liked it more than Lincoln like to swim.  This summer he has not enjoyed swimming at all in the big pool. He is happy just walking around the pool or playing in his little kiddie pool.
He sure likes his popsicles and everytime he goes to Nana's house he goes for the freezer and asks for a popsicle.  Good thing Nana is nice and spoils him!
Lots of kisses to little Norah. I love this girl and the cuddles I get from her.
Lincoln had a great time with packing peanuts and a box that we got!
We attempted finger painting--- but Lincoln HATES getting his hands dirty and sticky... so he was much happier with a brush.
Lincoln would not let us help him put his tie on..... (he is in the stage where he wants to do everything himself.... "Lincoln Do It"  it probably his most used phrase right now.  It can be quite a challenge because most of the things he wants to do he either can't or it takes him forever. I guess this is all part of the growing up process.
Lincoln is obsessed with the Salad spinner. If he sees it he demands to play with it and try to spin it.  I had it out washing lettuce and had forgotten to put it away. Lincoln found it along with a bag of corn chips and decided that they needed to be spun.  Let's just say he crunched em up good.
 Looks just like his Daddy!
More popsicles... which usually end up all over the place!
The Boulevard had their  groundbreaking ceremony up in Cedar for the new store.  Because Adam is doing work up there for it we decided to head up and enjoy the free lunch.  Lincoln LOVED digging in he dirt with the gold shovels and he especially loved watching the big Trucks and tractors move the dirt around.
Lincoln and Channing--- little partners in crime.
We have def. had our share of these this month... They weren't kidding about the terrible twos.  :)  He can throw quite the tantrum but we love him regardless!
Norah thinking she is a big girl sitting in Lincoln's carseat!

Brianhead and Cedar Breaks

We wanted a little break from the heat so we headed up to the Condo in Brianhead. It was a perfect little weekend getaway and we always love the beauty that Cedar Breaks has to offer.

We then ventured off or our first official hike as a family of 4.  I def. got the easier end of the deal carrying Norah. I am glad I wasn't Adam having to carry the pack-- snacks-- and  30 lb. Lincoln.  Let's just say that I don't think Lincoln will have too many more opportunities to ride!

Grandma Betsy's Funeral

The beginning of June we headed to California for the funeral of Adam's Grandma- Betsy.  It was great to see and meet family that we hadn't seen in awhile and also great to celebrate and remember the person that Grandma Betsy was!
