I love seeing what an amazing Dad Adam is to little Lincoln. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by two amazing boys.
Love them both to pieces!
This is the first family Lincoln has met.
Great Grandpa and Grandma Weber!!
He was almost 3 weeks old here.
Grandma Betty
Grandpa Willie
Adam, Lincoln, and Grandpa Willie
Lincoln can't wait for Nana/Pops, Aunt Heidi, Grandma Penny, and Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Laura to come visit in a couple weeks. We are counting down the days!
Here are a couple more pictures just because....
He loves to take his bath... a long as the water is nice and warm.
His favorite way to lie is on his tummy.... or on your chest. Love when he cuddles up to me.
Life really has settled in. Reality is that we have this little one. I look at him and really think that we were so blessed to have such a handsome and good little guy.
Lincoln is def. growing. He is still wearing his newborn clothes but they are starting to get a bit snug. So one of these days he will fit in his 0-3 monthers. He really does grow so fast but still is so so little.
We went to all of church on Sunday and he was an angel... good thing or I don't think I could have survived all three hours. Some nights he is getting better at sleeping through the nights... other nights he doesn't want to have anything to do with sleeping more than a couple hours. Hopefully he gets a sleep schedule down here soon! We have his one month appointment tomorrow so we will see how big he has gotten.
I 'like'--no I LOVE everything about this picture.
It makes me happy in more ways than one.
-my sweet baby boy
-green, GREEN grass {spring is here to stay}
-taking a walk and getting some exercise
-60+ degree weather and real sunshine
Lincoln is two weeks old today... today being his original due date. Crazy to think that he could have been still growing inside of me. So glad he decided to enter our little family early because we have loved every moment with him. He really has blessed our family already in so many ways.
The biggest change for me has been the huge change of pace. So relaxed and low-key. Nothing to worry about except to take care of him. Lincoln's life consists of sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating... so while he is sleeping I am surprised how many little projects I have been able to get done. I love that I get all his attention-- all the time. It really is amazing being a Mother. I cherish every moment I get to cuddle and stare at the little guy {and there are a lot of them.}
Here are a few more pictures of our little guy from the last week.

{He is such a good natured boy}
{He is still so teeny... All his 0-3 month clothing drown him... I love how little he is and I am trying to soak it up because he grows so fast}
-It was Monday, the 28th.... Adam and I had joked earlier in the day about how crazy it would be if our little guy was born on my birthday- my Golden birthday in fact. I would be turning 29 on the 29th. Just as we were going to bed that night, we commented that we were safe for not having him be born on my big day- not that we really thought he would anyway. He would be 2 weeks early and there were no signs at all of his arrival-- the day had gone like any other. I went to the gym, went to work, and that evening went to a party for our friend. I felt great.
But I guess when someone decides to enter this world- there is no stopping him... and it happens fast. Ready or not--- Lincoln was about to change our lives forever.
So early on the 29th, around 2:30 am... I woke up to some cramping or early contractions. At first I didn't think too much about it, but after I wasn't able to fall back asleep, and the contractions kept coming, I had a feeling that this was for real. I didn't really get much sleep after that(nerves I am sure was part of it). Adam woke up around 7 to surprise me by making some waffles for my birthday breakfast. I think he was more surprised to find me on the couch-- saying that I didn't feel great and I didn't want waffles. I still don't think he thought anything of it, even when I started timing my contractions. He was in denial and was still planning on having my full planned birthday celebration that night. The contractions started getting stronger and closer together-- at which point I told Adam we should probably call Labor and Delivery at the hospital and let them know we are coming. Pretty sure it was at this point that Adam finally came to terms that I wasn't joking and this was for real. So we got the the hospital around noon. At this point I was dilated to a 3-4 and progressing so they decided to check me and get this going. Basically the next few hours were me contracting and in pain. What felt like after forever, they gave me some pain meds. Def. helped---- and then finally I got the epidural. Man that was my best friend. Call me a wuss but contractions hurt. After the epidural kicked in, life was good again. I was able to sit- relax and just wait.
It was around 10 pm when the Dr. informed me it was getting time to Push. So our little guy had two hours to decide if he wanted to come on my birthday or wait 2 hours and come on the 30th. After about a hour of pushing- Little Lincoln entered this world at 11:05 pm.
I must say that it was the BEST birthday present I could have ever asked for. What an amazing moment. To have a breathing- healthy baby in your arms.
A little piece of Me and a little piece of Adam to make one precious, perfect little baby. Life really is a Miracle! The moment he was placed on my chest and I looked at him I knew my life would never be the same. Even I was emotional. Everything had gone perfect and we now have a little piece of heaven to hold in our arms anytime we want. I am in Love.. and it's amazing how your life changes in an instant. Life seems to have another dimension to it now.

Watching a little General Conference.
He is so little that his 'newborn' size clothes are huge on him!
Daddy can't stop smiling and loves his little man.
(even though at this moment Lincoln was peeing all over him-Daddy didn't even get mad)
On Friday April 1st we celebrated my birthday! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, cards, texts, voicemails, gifts (and sorry I didn't respond to anything on my birthday) and a huge thanks to Adam for my new running shoes, alarm clock, goodies, cake and most of all for the Perfect Birthday gift- Lincoln!
Heres to many more birthday celebrations and a life with our little Lincoln.
