It's time for our monthly update... Yep. Lincoln is 5 months old. Such a fun age. I love the stage he is in right now. Everyday he learns something new and shows off to me how cool he is.
-He loves his Mom. We have loved spending all day everyday together. Ya he loves Dad too.... who gets all his attention in the evenings.
-Continues to enjoy eating new foods- although his first couple times tasting peas resulted in lots of funny faces and spitting out. {I didn't plan to color coordinate his meal.. it worked out nicely though.}
-If we put him on his belly, a good portion of the time he immediately rolls over--- Although when he does decide to stay on his belly he seems to like it.
-Continues to wear a portion of his 0-3 month clothes and is just starting to really fit in his 3-6 month clothes. He is a little guy but sure seems like a tank to me because of his build.
-He still despises his Crib! When we first got his crib we tried to have him sleep in it but he constantly was waking up- which made for some long nights. When we were on vacation he slept great-- in his car seat. Now that we are back home I tried to get him transitioned back to his crib but to no avail. I have failed and have realized if I want a good 8 hour night sleep I have to put him in his car seat. Funny Boy.
-He loves his jumper-- not only jumping in it but lifting his feet up and swinging back and forth. So cute.
-He found a new friend in the mirror.... Himself! So funny to watch him interact with his mirror twin.
-His really is the most smiley, happy baby. Pretty much anytime anywhere I can get him to smile and laugh on cue. I never realized how much attention a baby brings to you when you are out at public. People are constantly asking about him and enjoying his cute face whenever we are out and about.
-He still kicks his feet like crazy. Mostly when he wants something- either food or attention. It's like he is doing the little running man.
-Loves to be hung upside down.
-Loves to sing songs with action. Will laugh at everything.
-Is fascinated with any toy... and color.
-This is what happens when Lincoln wants attention but laundry has to be done. He becomes part of it.
Dinner must have been good.
We sure love our little guy and love seeing his little personality manifest!

You can tell he is such a happy baby! Caleb slept in his swing until he was 6 months old - anything for sleep. Someone gave me the best advice when I was fretting about him sleeping in the swing. She said: Im pretty sure he wont need it when hes in college. I laughed because I was so afraid I was starting some horrible habit we would be stuck in forever when in reality I just needed to stop sweating the small stuff.
I love the mirror shot!
Hannah has never fallen asleep from eating in her chair. She is always so happy after she eats.
I can't believe how big he's getting. He really is so adorable. I love his cute chubby cheeks. You have such a cute family. I wish Jordan was going to Utah State so him and Annika could go out. :) Remember we arranged their marriage years and years ago. ha ha
