Lincoln and I headed out to Utah for a Wittwer family reunion! Adam had to stay back and work {boo}. We thought it better not to ask work off while training and in your first 2 months. So we packed our bags and jumped on a plane {wait 3 planes- we thought living in a bigger city than Iowa City we would have a better flight path to Utah... nope- it still takes 3 planes and all day to get to St. George}. By now I have the traveling with an infant by myself thing down. The first time I was petrified that Lincoln would freak out or something would go wrong but 2 vacations {and 10 planes later} I think Lincoln and I are pros. Yes I am bragging-- Lincoln was such a good boy for me!
We had a great time spending time with family. We mostly just hung out.
Our Wittwer retreat was in Zion Ponderosa. We love it up there. Being here in the midwest it has really made me appreciate the mountains. And really there aren't mountains any more amazing than driving through Zion.

Over the past month Lincoln is constantly smiling and laughing.. He loved all the attention extended family gives him.
We also went on a little hike... Up to Emerald Pools. It was a hot August day so this was enough for me carrying Lincoln!

Marci you are a champ seriously!! :) I love that smile of his with your dad holding him. I can't believe you had so many layovers...geez! That is crazy! Can't wait to see you in a couple of days!
