This time Lincoln and I packed up the car and headed through Kentucky, Tennessee, and onto North Carolina. Adam was in his last month of training there so we went to visit him and make a mini vacay out of it to see other friends and family. It was beautiful and I loved driving through the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee! I love having friends spread out over the country because it gives us an excuse to travel to new and fun places.
Adam first visited with his good buddy, Dallin Young, who is living in Georgia, but they met up in South Carolina to watch a baseball game. We then spent the day with one of Adams friend's family- the Prices. we had a blast-- swimming, visiting, eating, and then went to the US National Whitewater Center. We just walked around a bit but it is on my list of must-dos next time I am in NC.
Check out my little Indiana Jones... Love his smile.
Our little family
Steve and Adam with their babies!
The man-made whitewater course. Looks like a blast!
Hadley and Lincoln
Our next stop was at the Hart's house. They had just moved two weeks earlier to the Charlotte area so I was so happy that we could spend sometime with both Erica and Nick!! Love them. I loved hanging out with Erica and getting excited for their new little baby girl addition. They will be amazing parents.
Going to church with the Harts.. what a cheeseball.
My sister and her family just recently moved to the Richmond, VA area for Tim to go to school at VCU for a PhD program. I LOVED spending a couple days with them. We went to some Civil War battlefields near their house, Maymont Park, and mostly played with cute Henry and Claire.
Lincoln spend most of his time chilling in the stroller.
Henry and Claire loved playing with Lincoln....
Lincoln wrestling with Henry.
Thanks Prices, Harts, and Thorleys for awesome times...
This was on our way home in West Virginia.

That looks like such a fun trip! I'm glad Lincoln is showing his BYU spirit even out in West Virginia :)
Wow you really do have friends and family spread all over! What a fun trip!
Next time you should come up a little further and visit D.C. We have been to the White Water place too. I think it is the the only thing to do in Charlotte. Lincoln is so dang cute! It is crazy how fast they grow.
