Life is interesting..... in home, at home school, and quarantine for us all. Not sure what life is going to be like... and really this is just bizarre. Thank you Covid 19 for turning our world upside down.
General Conference-- all in person talks and meeting were cancelled and just streamed online. We had lots of activities at home- playing outside(thank goodness for nice weather), chalk drawings, and the beginning of mask wearing.

Uncle Jordan had his big 30th birthday. We wanted to have a big party to celebrate but plans had to change so we put together a little happy birthday video from us all!

Easter group activities were mostly cancelled.... we still had our own little celebrations- making sure to emphasize our Saviors Resurrection.

Fun hike to Red Cliffs Reserve Hike. Such a beautiful day-- too cold to swim but the kids loved wading in.
Online school as been interesting. Mostly positive but def not the ideal way to teach or learn. Lots of hiccups but the teachers did their best. Because the kids never really got to say goodbye to their teachers or even thank them for all they did, they had a parade through the neighborhoods. The kids loved seeing their teachers. It was so fun to see people again. Even if they were only driving by. Cade's preschool also had a parade for his teacher miss Brandi. They got to do the driving this time.
Our extended family didn't follow quarantine guidelines very well. We got together quite a bit- and tried to get outside as much as we could--- because everything else was closed. We had a fun looking for moss in the Santa Clara river.... and then Pops took us to 3 mile and showed us some cool petroglyphs. We also did the Chuckwalla trail hike with Erin and her kids.
My Aunt Carol Ann had her big 70th birthday. Because all her normal celebrations had to be cancelled, her family put togther this Disney Parade because she is a huge DISNEY lover---- We were asked to participate and happy to do so. We were the Haunted Mansion, Nana and Pops, woody and BoPeep, Tyler's family- Peter Pan, James' family- It's a Small World.

We loved getting together for Nana and James' birthdays as well. James wasn't happy to get the mini cake. haha.
We also started at Home church- It was different, neat, and had some challenges but grateful that we still got to participate in the Sacrament at home,
Whitney and Josh came for the visit as well. We loved meeting baby Eli!
Norah made this for Nana.
Good bye April... it will be interesting to see what May has in store for us.
