April

Grandma Penny came down for a quick visit so we headed out on a little hike in Snow Canyon. We found some of the little caves. Lincoln and Norah loved exploring and wanted to stay much longer.  Mom wasn't too sure about it seeing that she had baby Damon strapped to herself. haha. It was as beautiful as ever out there and I am still amazed everytime I go to Snow Canyon and look at the scenery and beauty.

Mid April we finally started work on the house... like real work. Getting the site work all done and beginning to prep for footings. The kids loved playing on the dirt hills and watching all the machines. It is fun to think that one day (hopefully in the near future) this will be our home- a place to call our home, where our kids will learn, grow, develop their personalities, and become great little people.  So many memories to come at this location.

Adam took Norah and Lincoln to Sciencapalooza! They did some fun little experiments and then they stopped by the Children's Museum to look through some telescopes at the sun!  Dad is the best.

We went to Cafe Sabor as a family--- lots of good memories going their when I was at Utah STate in college. It was yummy.... the kids loved the chips and salsa especially.
We finally got our caterpillars and watched them transform into Beautiful butterflies.  It was fun to watch the whole process. And we only had one mishap of killing one of them.  Not sure how it happened but I think we smashed one of it's wings so it couldn't move anymore.  whoops.
We opened up the pool cause the kids wanted to swim. Once they touched the water they were more happy with just staying in the boat. It was a little too cold for their liking.
Our adventures with Cade continues. More fun on the Rzr. Here he is with his friends Bryson Drake. He still has some work to do so he doesn't crash in to everything.  Although he has gotten pretty good and driving and backing up.

Another sprinkler head bites the dust.  ;(
He's like a little angel when he is sleeping... and then he wakes up.... and not so much. haha.
He helped himself to the leftover hotdogs from the fridge.  Our little sausage meat lover.
Why wouldn't you want to wrap yourself up with the saran wrap?
How about you take off your clothes, including your diaper and put it in the water table to get all nice and wet.
Cade was at Bryson's house and Bryson's mom found these two in the bath.
I love that I have an entire yard for CAde to explore, and especially that we can look all the gates up so he can't get out.  It makes me so happy to look out the window and watch him play for hours in the dirt, on the tramp, on the rzr, or whatever else he does.  It doesn't make me as happy when I look out to find that he is climbing on top of the wall.. The little stinker.

And another shampoo and body wash gets dumped down the drain.  Oh the fascination of wasting stuff. haha.
5 Months with Damon!  so much fun as he is starting to become mobile.. he started rolling all over the place so we can no longer leave him in one place with out checking out the entire area to make sure it is safe.  I don't think that he finds the wood floors quite as comfy as the carpet though .
