Birthdays!

In the past March has always been my favorite month.... and although I LOVE my kids and love that we get to celebrate birthdays together, Birthday month--- especially the last half of the month is pure craziness.  It def. starts to wear on me. I must be getting old.  Here is how our line up of birthdays went this year. 7, 5, and a 3 year old..... and don't forget that 36 year old as well. ;)
CADE our little minion turns 3! We went pretty lowkey on birthdays this year. I think part of it was that Whitney was in town so I got to plan and hold a baby shower for her on the 25th. So I had other party planning to do.  But we still managed to have a great celebration for everyone!

Cade requested a Minion birthday... He and Norah helped me with the Cake.

 Love that cheese ball!

He then requested the bounce house for his acitivity!  Done and done!  He was a happy boy.
 Lincoln and Mom were next.
Of course Lincoln has to remind me to have a candle in his breakfast. Luckily we had leftover green pancakes in the freezer from St. Patricks Day that Lincoln thought were perfect for his birthday breakfast.
After school he came home and got to open his presents. He loved his new suitcase and snorkel gear.

His request was for a lazer tag 7th birthday. So he came up with the idea and we executed this cake.  He was pretty pumped about it.  He had a soccer game on his birthday night so we weren't able to go to lazer tag on his birthday but a few days later on April 2nd he invited Cole and Cooper Weakley to go to lazer tag and they had a great time.  After Lincoln's soccer game we went to Arctic Circle for dinner per his request and then came home for cake.
Adam made sure I got a little celebration in and had got me a couple little desserts... Erin had brought over a cupcake earlier in the day so I got my choice of 3 yummy desserts.  Do you think we were on a sugar high yet?

I think Lincoln liked his Suitcase cause we found him at night asleep but had it right by him on his bed.
The next morning we woke to Norah's 5th  Princess Birthday! She wanted all things princess so we obliged with decorations and birthday banner and balloons.  She had her favorite blueberry oatmeal with a candle for breakfast.
Some fun presents, including a new suitcase as well.

Because it was Easter weekend and her birthday was on a Friday, her birthday was on Good Friday. She was excited about that.  We also had the Wittwer Easter Party that evening so that was her birthday dinner and activity.  By the time we got home from playing and having the Easter egg hunt we didn't have time for Cake or a celebration so we held off til the next day.   The next day was General Conference but we made sure to fit in a happy birthday between conference sessions.  She Loved her princess dress cupcakes complete with jewels.  Some of the neighbors were over so we all sang to her and had some more cake!  We love our 5 year old Princess!

What a crazy time of year but I feel so blessed to be able to share another year of healthy, happy, children. Truly lucky to be their Mom.
