May is always a busy one and we love welcoming in Summer.
School ended for the year and Lincoln finished up 1st Grade. He still Loves Science and he was lucky enough to be able to present their classes science project to those who were walking by. He loved it. He also participated in Field day and his relay team ended up getting 3rd place.
Lincoln and Norah also finished their music/piano. They had a fun recital where they showed us what they knew. Lincoln played the piano 'How to Skip' and did awesome. Norah did some fun singing.
Summer arrived and the temperatures started to increase. We love to eat out on the deck, go swim, play with friends, and the kids even had a lemonade/cookie stand. They made $50. Plus the highlight was when the fireman in his truck stopped by to buy some lemonade.
The only picture I have from Father's and Sons... this was before they headed out to pinto.
We also had a goal to learn how to bake something over the summer.. The first idea was a strawberry pie. The kids all cut the strawberries up, helped me make the crust and lincoln especially liked to make the cool criss cross design on top. They did great.
