It seems like summertime we are constantly on the go--- July was no different. For pioneer day we took a tour of the Brigham Young home. We also went to the Blvd Work party at the Washington Rec Center. We caught the perfect sunset while playing out on the splashpad.
-We also had to head out to the Blvd to check out the triple layer bunk beds we are thinking about getting for the cabin. The kids loved them. Tyler and Marci needed to check them out as well. Tight but so fun for the cousins.
-We got concrete laid back in the barn and Lincoln loved watching and helping out in the entire process. It was fun to watch the boys learn how to do the concrete and Lincoln, Norah, and Cade made sure to put their handprints in the wet concrete.
-Dress like a cow day at Chik-fil-A was a big hit with the kids (well all for except Isaac who wasnt too happy to have to get dressed up. We headed over with Heidi and her kids to get our free meals for lunch. Cutest cows around for sure.
-We also had a fun little water party with some water games and water balloons... complete with popsicles. Summer days are the best.
-The Boulevard had 'Boulevard World' so we went out to check out the decor, activites, and the dinosaur. It was a fun atmosphere and we always love to see Pops and the other family that works there in action.
-Lincoln booby trapped Norah when she was sleeping one night. He created Nibbles cage and then added all kinds of little nick nacks all over it. Poor Norah puts up with so much when sharing a room with Lincoln.
We also had our annual Barton Reunion at the Dirt Farm. While w were loading up, the kids were watching a movie in the van so the Thorley kids had to come out and enjoy the Movie Party in the van. We had so much fun to relaxing, getting dirty, and playing with cousins. Sat games were a lot of fun. Adam and Marci did awesome on the 3 legged race and Lincoln and Andrew were pretty comical to watch. Overall a great few days.
