My little baby sister found herself an amazing man to marry. Yay! It was a busy time planning and getting everything ready for their wedding the day after Christmas but we were so thrilled to have Josh join our family. For each of Whitney's photo shoot days-- they just happened to be the coldest days... Her engagements were scheduled in Pine Valley and of course there was a snow storm that day. The pics turned out awesome, magical, and beautiful though!
Their Bridals were held out at Snow Canyon on one of the coldest and windiest days in St. George. Whit said there wasn't one pic where hair and veil weren't blowing all over the place.
Then came the actual wedding day!! No snow but man it was COLD!! It had snowed a little on Christmas day so we were joking she was going to have a White wedding. No snow but still freezing and breezy. Needless to say the group pics we took were quick. We all had big coats on until picture time, we took them off, got the pic and ran back to the coat. Poor Whitney didn't get that luxury. I am sure she was freeezing! But she is gorgeous and you can't hardly tell how cold it was. :)
The ceremony was fabulous. I love going to sealings and reminding my self the importance of marriage and how lucky I am to have Adam in my life.
The grandkids picture was quite a task in getting....... We almost managed to get one good one--- But Channing decided to hide (at least you can see his arm ;) )
I can't believe how big the Sheldon and Karma Wittwer family has become!! So fun.
The reception was held at the Abbey Inn. The decorations turned out great and it looked very pretty in there. Their colors were Sage green, plum, and pale pink.
Norah loved her flower wedding dress!! All the girls looked like little dolls-- even if their hair was crazy and wind blown from earlier. This younger boys basically stayed entertained by the tablets..... little stinkers.
I loved their cake.
We attempted a family picture. It was at the end of the day and the kids wanted NOTHING to do with it. I am surprised we even got one kid looking!
Lincoln loved the cheesecake. The food was also yummy.... we then played a question trivia game about whitney and Josh. I was leading most of the game and then Jordan and even Adam passed me up on the last question.
We then got out dance on. Norah wasn't too sure what to do at the bouquet toss-- she looked cute nonetheless. The Bride and Groom then headed out to their quick honeymoon to Zions. We stuck around and cleaned up. The kids loved playing on the carts and helping pick everything up. It was the perfect day and I loved seeing Josh and Whitney so happy. We look forward and wish them the best and happiest future!
