December- Pre Christmas Fun!

Gingerbread houses. This year we went the easy way out and bought a premade kit that had 4 little houses in it.  It was sure nice to have everything there.. and the kids loved it!  Plus they turned out great.

We also made it to the temple to  check out the nativity and the lights.  Always a favorite of the kids. They loved running up the temple steps and running to see what lights were next.

Next we headed to the Boulevard to have a visit with Santa. The kids always love the car carts... and surprisingly all the kids did great for Santa... Not huge smiles--- norah was a little hesitant but NO TEARS. haha.

Every day is a battle when Mom has to take the 3 kids somewhere by herself.  Cade had his 9 month appt and for the most part the kids did decent.  Although Lincoln and Norah also got Flu shots and that was an adventure in itself. Norah did great but Lincoln wanted NOTHING to do with it.  He was screaming and hiding and not letting me or the nurse assistant get any where near him. Finally with three of us adults, me holding his upper body, another nurse assistant holding his lower half, and the the other one giving the shot we were able to get it done. Lincoln is one strong little dude when he wants to be. Seriously we could barely keep him down.   Anyway on the way out to the car, I guess the kids had had enough cause they just decided to lie down.....  I am lugging Cade around so it is hard to get them as well. Oh the joys of 3 littles. :)
Another big event was that Norah moved into her bed---- downstairs with Lincoln in his room.  She did pretty well, although her and Lincoln just like to play at night.  So we realized that if we can get Norah to sleep first, and then Lincoln go down once she is asleep things go much better. Plus Cade is out of our room and he is in his own room in the crib!  He is sleeping much better, which means Mom and Dad are sleeping much better. Yay!
Cade always wants to be a part of everything the bigger kids are doing, although he isn't always welcome.  He was quite the little Baby Godzilla  coming to destroy their little town and roads they had created.
