Christmas Eve/Day

Because we got back from California around 5 on Christmas Eve, it was a little bit of a whirlwind. Nana and Pops were great enough to still host a Christmas eve Dinner of lasagna and have a nativity.  The kids always love getting dressed up.  We had some pretty good participation this year.  Lincoln was a Wiseman, Norah was the cutest Angel, and Cade was a shepherd that sort of participated.  Pics from the nativity are always my favorite.

Christmas morning is getting more and more fun every year as the kids get older. Lincoln was super excited for Santa to come and Norah just goes a long with whatever Lincoln says so she was equally excited.  They all got plenty of good and hauled in some good stuff.
Lincoln and Norah got a Amazon Fire Tablet to share. Lincoln got a new watch, binoculars, books, a new jacket, and little odds and ends.  He was a happy boy.  Norah got a cash register, more pretend food, a rapunzel barbie, books, a baby carseat for her dolls, and little knick knacks.  Cade as happy with his hammer toy and stacking balls.  He is easy to please.  Marci was hooked up and got a Fitbit HR to track her steps and heart rate.  Adam got a new book, some shooting targets, and some dutchoven stuff.  (Sorry Adam not a very exciting year for you ;) )  We feel so blessed to have been given so much. Serving others and giving really is what makes Christmas so special. We were able to go visit Nana and Pops get presents from there.... and give our gift to them (which was fixing their door to their outdoor garage).   We then went to Grandpa and Grandma Bartons house, had Grandmas caramel popcorn and visited. Then because Whitney was getting married the next day we went over to the Abbey Inn and helped set up for her reception dinner!  A fun and busy Christmas day.
