The first half of March

Man I love my kids.. Everyday Lincoln  asks if we can do a "project" which is basically some sort of craft or activity.  So when I am feeling motivated enough to do something we head to the computer, pull up pinterest, type in _____ kids craft and then Lincoln looks at all the pictures and picks one that he wants to do.  This particular day he chose to do a pipe cleaner bead shamrock craft.  We usually do them when Norah is taking her afternoon nap, but today she was lucky enough to participate with us.

We also pulled out all of the baby boy stuff that we had from Lincoln.  Norah's shoe obsession continued even with these baby boy sandals. She was determined to squeeze them on.  She was also pretty excited when she saw a whole bag of binkies!  she managed to sneek one and was pleased to get to suck on it for a bit.

We also had Mason and Jake Talbot over one Sunday afternoon. Their parents called us because they were headed to the hospital to have their baby girl and Debbie's mom hadn't arrived to babysit yet. We were thrilled to have them over. Lincoln always loves friends over.  We had a picnic lunch outside and then played in the dirt.  Good timeS!

We also went and explored Pioneer Park one evening. Always a favorite. Lincoln and Norah loved finding all the "caves" to explore.

Jeremy, Laura, and Boston also came and stayed with us for a few days.  It was fun to have them here and to play with Boston. We love that little chatterbox. We had fun blowing bubbles, doing puzzles, books, toys, and climbing on the tractor.

One Sat. we headed about 10 miles outside of St. George to an old gypsum mineral mine that has been turned into "Sparkle Mountain." The mountain/pit looks like it is covered in broken glass but is actually gypsum deposits that can be chipped away.  It wasn't super interesting but the kids LOVED collecting a bag full of all the pieces and getting all the sparkles.

Lincoln and Norah always love helping in anyway in the kitchen, Norah mostly just licks the beaters and spoons but Lincoln has started to help me cut fruits and veggies!

They wanted to help Nana picking weeds and with yard work. They also found a snail. Lincoln wouldn't get near it but Norah had no problem holding it and playing with it.

We had FHE at Tyler and Erin's home.  For the treat we decorated Sugar cookies.  Lincoln took it upon himself to decorate it with every sort of candy possible.  There is actually a cookie underneath the candy. He def. takes after his mom with his sweet tooth.
We had a lot of really nice sunny days in March. We made it to the park a few times with friends.  Here we brought our lunch and ate it after we were toasty and red in the face from all the playing.

We made brownies one day.  I went into the kitchen a little later and saw this. Lincoln had cut a huge piece out of the middle for himself. He did inform me though that he saved a piece for dad (the skinny piece in between the two parts that are gone).
I haven't seen Norah so happy as when we told her she gets Lincoln's strider bike.  She was in heaven.  Although she basically just walks with it, she loves it, and thinks she is one of the big kids.
Lincoln LOVES his magnatiles he got for Christmas. He plays with them almost every day and comes up with the most creative creations all on his own. He always wants me to take a picture of them and send it to Dad!
Some of theYW leaders that I served with threw me and baby boy a book themed baby shower. It was so sweet of them and I really appreciated it. Makayla Leavitt made the goodies, did the games, and hosted it at her house and Mailen Roberts made the cake and helped with the  decorations.  Everyone brought at least a book as a gift. It was great!

Lincoln and Norah loved that they got a whole slew of new books to read.  The got hooked up for sure. They also loved the little tractor and blocks that baby got.
Marci at 39 weeks. I def. felt 39 weeks. :) The next day Baby Cade decided to come.
This is the last picture that I got of Norah before baby Cade came. I had started feeling contractions so I called Adam to come home from work so we could head to the hospital. So we went outside to stay distracted and swing til he got home. She is just too cute!!  Next up- The hospital and Baby Cade's arrival!
