Welcome Home Sister Whitney Wittwer

We were so so excited for Sister Wittwer to arrive home from her mission in South Dakota.  She was originally planned to arrive Monday November 24 around Noon.... but then a darn snowstorm kept her grounded in Rapid City until the following day.  Lincoln was so so excited to go to the airport and watch her get off. He had his poster, balloons, and badge all ready. We were literally walking out the door to head to the airport when we got word that she was still in Rapid City. Major Bummer. At that point we werent sure when she was going to arrive back home- we were just hoping it was going to be in time for Thanksgiving.
Luckily she was able to catch a flight the next day late in the evening but didnt arrive at the airport until after 11 pm.  The kids def weren't as spunky and awake but Lincoln was so determined to watch Whitney come in from the airplane that we had to take them- Jammies and all.  We are so glad we did.
Whitney seemed pretty excited to see everyone---- and we were so thrilled to see her!
Norah wasn't quite sure she wanted to go to her upon first meeting.  It took a little bit of time til she warmed up to her.
Lincoln and Andrew were the 2 cutest welcome home boys.

We love Aunt Whitney and am so excited she had such a successful and rewarding mission. She is an an awesome example to all of us. We love having her home.
