Other November Happenings

These two little munchkins keep on growing, learning, and get goofier and more fun everyday.  They definitely keep us busy and on our toes. There are many days I wonder how I am going to handle another little around!  We sure love these kids.
Some of their daily musings..... Lincoln making faces and showing me  his blue tongue.

They made a little hideout in the corner of there room. They like to read and keep stuffed animals back in there.... away from mom and dad.
Norah is always such a good sport about running errands with me while Lincoln is in preschool. She is a trooper but on this particular day I think she had had enough.  She was def ready to be done with the car!
We no longer have the old mustard yellow oven!!  And we now have an actual working oven in it's place. This oven had bitten the dust about 4 months ago and we had been using the one outside.  We had been told that there wasn't anything small enough to fit in our cupboard so we just delt with going out to the back porch to bake..... but that started to getting old and I was tired of lugging everything out there just to cook. So when the temperature knob broke on the oven outside we really pushed for a new oven inside.....  and guess what they found an oven that fits just about perfect!  Hallelujah! The joys of living in an old house and the things you take for granted in new homes.  It would have been nice to have an actual full size oven but we will take what we can get.  Next up- convincing my Dad and his brothers we need a dishwasher!
Once our oven was fixed we took full advantage of it and did lots of fall baking. Lincoln loves to help make sugar cookies.

Mike, Karly, and their kids came down to St. George for baseball tournaments for both Brevan and Karter. We attended a couple of Karters and one of Brevans. Norah was enjoying it all.

One side of the old barn and fallen over or collapsed so Pops and James went to work building a new covering for the horses.  Lincoln wanted to go out and watch and was thrilled when he got to help haul the new HUGE cedar posts over to the tractor.

Why not bring every blanket and stuffed animal you own into the corner of Mom and Dad's bathroom? haha. Love their creativity.
Norah is constantly trying to sit in her doll stroller-- we are always telling her know. This particular time she felt right on through the back.  Is it ok as a parent to stop and take a picture while your child is screaming and thinking she is holding on for dear life?
Lincoln came up with this Airplane made from his chairs. He always seems to be building and creating something cool.
Fall means lots and lots and lots of leaves. This was just one of the times we got to rake.  The kids always love it because they get to jump and play and then get dragged on the tarp full of leaves to the back of the house!  I don't think Mom and Dad enjoy quite as much. Although I sure love seeing these two so happy.

Pop's had his BIG 60th birthday so we had a little party to celebrate the occasion.

We had made him a scrapbook of all the new Pine Valley Cabin pictures from the beginning of building til now. I think he enjoyed it and I think we will all enjoy for many years to come.

I love walking in and finding Lincoln asleep in random places in his bedroom. Who needs a bed anyway?
Norah and Lincoln both love their smoothies!  Norah is constantly asking for more more more.
