We had a great month of December-- This time of year is perfect! I think Lincoln enjoyed it as well.
Christmas Lights on our little tree were definitely his favorite entertainment during the month of December. I didn't mind because it kept him entertained for a bit... and don't worry when he started getting too tangled I kindly untangled him.
What's Christmas without sitting on Santa's lap?! Lincoln pretty much just starred at Santa. Didn't have much emotion either way- Crying or smiling. That isn't Lincoln so when he threw up about 10 minutes after he sat on Santa's lap his mood made sense. Not sure how he would have reacted if he was feeling good though- although I would bet on he would have been his smiley self. Because we were going to Utah for Christmas we decided to have our little Christmas before we left Kentucky. Lincoln doesn't know any different and could really care less at this point - so we figured it would be much easier to not have to pack presents back and forth. Here's to Lincoln's first Christmas. He received a walker toy that he had already been using! He was happy just being there with all the paper and bows.
I needed a surprise for Adam this Christmas. So about a week before we were going to head to Utah I had a great idea! Adam always says that we are going to buy a wrestling mat for our house for Lincoln to practice on. So I was a little more realistic and decided to make a wrestling mat blanket for Adam. He LOVED it. Go Hawks. I didn't have time to bind it yet... and I am thinking about putting the tiger hawk logo on the other side... We'll see. It was a fun surprise-- I think Lincoln likes it as well.
I like this next picture because wrestlers are always wearing sweat pants and their sweatshirt tucked in. Nerdy. Anyway I thought Lincoln was playing the part well.
Future Hawkeye Wrestler... well at least in Dad's dreams.

such a cool gift for Adam! You are so creative! And Lincoln is adorable, seriously, so cute.
I failed for first time Christmas this year. No picture with Santa! We got her the same gift!
