8 months & December already!

Here's the monthly post on Lincoln-- 8 months old.
This is what happens when you set Lincoln to close to the tree. GRAB..... and
right into the mouth it goes... Prett much everything follows this pattern.... grab... and eat it.
Happy December!
-The past month Lincoln has learned how to use his body to get from one place to another.  He still can't crawl but he can get pretty much any where he wants to go by rolling.  He doesn't show a whole lot of interest in crawling although I will catch him on his hands and knees rocking back and forth on occasion.  I often find him wedged under a table of on the other side of the room when I am not watching.
-I haven't had to do too much babyproofing of the house yet.... and I am enjoying his somewhat limited mobility while I can.
-The best part of the last month is hat Lincoln has finally learned how to sleep through the night. YES it took him 8 months but I think he is there.... finally I can get more than 5 hours of sleep at a time.  It is awesome.  Lets hope he keeps it up. (**update- ya this lasted about 3 days. Back to waking up at least once in the night. Boo).
-No teeth yet... but his hair is starting to actually be visible.  Yay... although I do love my little baldy.
-Changing his diaper is next to impossible because he is so so so busy. He can never just lie there or sit there. He has to have something in his hands--- usually multiple things.
-Still a great eater of most everything.  Loves Cheerios.
-This last week was the last time I pumped so he is now only on formula.
-He gets so so excited when Dad comes in from work. He giggles and laughs and his the biggest smile on his face. He is bored from hanging out with me all day and knows that Dad will play with him, toss him around, and tickle him.

I stopped breastfeeding at 8 months (well...my body stopped). At first I was REALLY sad about it, but I am actually really grateful that it happened this way because I never got BIT!

Don't you had changing their diapers when they are so wiggly? Ugh, it makes it impossible at times (especially when they are poopy)!

Miss you. :)

I have to say I'm a tad sad about the hair. He's really cute bald.
