Damon has begun the toddler age. Getting into everything, pulling himself up, and trying to walk around. He is getting there.
Cade got a hold of the camera, and although these aren't the best pics, Mom isn't in a lot of pictures so we get to document these next couple.
After Norah got her face painted at Swiss Days she was constantly asking to paint her face more, so she was thrilled when she got invited to a birthday party where they had face painting. It made her day. Norah is also the best helper when it comes to Damon.
Adam is very proud of this next picture. He loves to tell people that he has NEVER purchased a TV in his entire life. When we got married, I had a TV- and it lasted clear until we moved to Nana and Pops house a year ago. We were waiting to buy one when we moved into our new house, but we didn't have to. At the Sunroc appreciation dinner, Adam won this 65" flat screen. He (and I) were pretty pumped about that--- saved us some cash, and Adam can still say he is 39 years old and never has purchased a tv.
We love cousin time... Blair and Norah. And Ammon and Damon. I can see those two having quite fun and causing a bit of mischief in years to come.
Lincoln finished up flag football and had fun with his team! They were a great group of kid and fun to watch. Lincoln is slowly learning to appreciate football. ;)
The White Sands Ampitheatre hike in Snow Canyon is one of our favorites. It isn't too far, the kids can play in the sand hill or climb on the rocks and it is beautiful. Another fun afternoon
Norah's kindergarten class had their field trip to Staheli Farms. I went and helped out and had fun watching Norah have fun with her friends.
Norah and Emery Southam
Norah and Colt Ence
Norah and Taislie Lyle
We couldn't find Cade for a few minutes, after looking around, we found him hanging out in the rhino! Love our Caders and all the laughs he adds to our family. It is never a dull moment with him around. and I am pretty sure he thinks that clothing is an optional thing in life.
Mom and Cade were twinners-- shirt and hardhat.
Adam got invited to go to Mississippi with some customers. He went to a football game and had a good time with the guys for a few days.
Norah loved cheer camp at Snow Canyon High School. She got to perform at halftime at the football game and did a great job. Our little Chearleader was so cute!
We headed up to the Red Hills Desert Garden with cousins and ran into this little fellow--- a desert tortoise. The kids loved it a little more than he liked them. They named him Dash because he was such a fast turtle. I just think he was trying to get the heck away from 10 little kids surrounding him. It was so fun to see it in it's natural habitat though.
We then went to the Scarecrow walk. The minion one, the wizard of Oz, and the Superhero ones were their favorites.
They had it pretty spooked out in there-- complete with UFO and aliens. Cade was terrified the entire time down below-- especially of the jumping spider.
No Witches party this year but we did all go out as girls(and Andrew) to get some food at Kneaders. Some dressed up as witches and others were party poopers(me). We then went to Frei's Pumpkin Patch and had fun picking out pumpkins and taking pics.
I love my Sisters!!! All together again.
Lincoln's Halloween School Parade---- He was a green ninja. He then had a fun party with his class where they played different games.
HALLOWEEN TIME- a couple days before halloween, we had a Wittwer family dressup party and dinner. Everyone came out in their best attire (and some of us raided nana and pops costume trunk the day of). Cade decided he wanted to be a boxer but norah and Lincoln stuck with their same costumes. And Damon used the cute Popeye costume Lincoln wore when he was 7 months old.
We went as a 90's couple(or whatever else you think we are).Half way through the party cade no longer wanted to be a boxer and instead wanted to match the skeleton cookies.
We then had a few games-- like sort the m&ms by color as fast as you can and the crowd favorite, cookie on your face. Always so entertaining to watch. And as always Adam came out the winner on this one.
Halloween Day-
Lincoln the Green Ninja
Norah the beautiful butterfly. Norah knew just what she wanted to be, so creating it with all her favorite colors was fun. It turned out so great and Norah loved showing off her wings.
For actual Halloween, Cade changed to wanting to be a fire fighter. Good thing we had a plastic hat from a preschool field trip to the fire station and some yellow and red duck tape on hand. We improvised this costume pretty darn quick. I must say he pulled it off and looked great.
All smiles for our little Damon- the Popeye Sailor man. Not too many complaints from him that night.
First stop- Nana and Pop's house (aka upstairs- but we had to around to the front door at least).
After trick or treating, cousins were over at nana and pops and they sat out in the front yard handing out candy to all the big kids that were still out trick or treating. Fun night! I love Halloween.
