December

December is always fun and crazy.. and with Damon only being 1 month old we kept things pretty low key as far as Christmas activities. We spent more time inside than usual but still found time to get in the Christmas spirit.
Damon's 1 month photos
9 lbs 5 oz 28%, 22” long 75%, Head 14.5” 18%
He really is the best baby-- it's probably a combination of me finally having some things figured out with baby #2, him having to be patient because I am having to deal with 3 other little kid's issues, or that he just has a really calm personality-- I am hoping the later.  He is my best sleeper by far. Already sleeping through the night- and rarely wakes up before his 5 am feeding.  We love everything about our little brother.

Norah is the best big sister and has been such a good helper to have around.

Moving onto our Cader potater.  I don't know if it is a combination of me not giving him enough attention or him knowing that I am a little preoccupied with Damon, but he has kept me on my toes this month. He keeps me laughing, crying, cleaning, smiling, and hugging. Oh how he brings so much personality to our family. We wouldn't trade him for the world.  Here are some of his shenanigans in December.    Legos everywhere.
 Just being cute---
ALWAYS in the water.  Not sure how he got up there but he sat there and played for a good little while- droopy diaper and all.
Not sure where he learned this!?  Adam ;)
He can have such a sweet little heart as well. We got out our baby Jesus manger and he was so excited to hold baby Jesus who was all swaddled.
At Lincoln's Christmas program, he was good for the first little bit, but after 20 minutes or so, the phone was the only thing that was going to keep him from running off or screaming... phone it was.
We started potty training and Cade did Awesome--- for the 1st week or so.. More to come on that saga.
I decorated the tree-- and literally 5 minutes after getting it all done, Cade decided to undecorate it for me while I was feeding Damon.  I guess he was just excited about all the new 'balls' to play with.
Norah's turn.... she was able to go on a 'date' with Dad to the nutracker. Adam said she loved it.
Norah and Emma from next door playing with Magnatiles.
She is still my cute little preschool loving little one! She is always so proud of all the work that she does.

At preschool, they even went caroling around the neighborhood and visited Santa at the fruit stand.
My little creator Lincoln still loves to go to Grandpa and Grandma Greats and play with their cool toys. He always creates something different when we go and before we make him destroy it, he wants us to take a picture. :)
He work up one morning with this cool mohawk!
Lincoln had his 1st grade Christmas play. He was so cute and hilarious..... I don't know how much he was paying attention to what was going on in the play... instead he was looking for us out in the audience the entire time with his 'hand goggles'

We all met up at Aunt Joyce's room at the assisted living center and sang her some Christmas songs, visited, and took a pic.  It was good to visit her and hopefully bring a little cheer to her.
Grandpa Barton holding Baby Damon.  He didnt want to look up for the picture but just kept staring at Damon.
We finally got out to visit Santa the week of Christmas. We headed to Tuacahn.  We weren't sure if Cade would be excited or scared but once Cade saw Santa sitting their in his chair, he ran as fast as he could up to him, giving Santa a huge hug. It was the cutest thing in the world and a memory I hope to never forget. I love the magic of Christmas.

We also made sure to go check out lights around town and to visit the temple.  Always a favorite of ours and the kids.

There was a particularly nice day so we cleaned up a bunch more leaves and the kids did their stomping in the garbage to smash them down.

The best Santa and Rudolph in all the land aka Lincoln and Norah.
A quick trip to PV for a little snow playing. There wasn't much and it was a bit icy but the kids loved it all the same.

We decided to make the trip up to South Jordan for our annual Christmas get together with all the Butterfields. Norah was loving Lyla and loved that they matched.  Cutest girls.
 Fun Wreath Crafts!

Boston wanting to hold and give kisses to Damon. We loved our time with Family and so glad they could all meet Damon. Our pre-Christmas season was a hit and def. got us into the Christmas spirit.
