Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was on the Sabbath... which I love because we are able to celebrate the birth of the Savior even a little more.  We only had Sacrament, but the week before Norah's cute little sunbeam class did a little nativity and Norah was Mary. She loved it.
After church I had to take a minute to get some pics in the little Santa hat that Damon go as a gift.  So Norah was a willing model and loved posing with Damon.

That evening we went over to Tyler and Erin's and had a 'Night in Bethlehem'.  Erin had decorated the basement with twinkling lights to mimic the outside, we kept it dark and then ate finger foods that mostly would have been stuff they would have eaten back in the time of Christ's birth.  We of course still had our nativity with the kids and it was as crazy as ever, Love all those cousins.

The gift exchange of course is always a huge hit with the kids. Lincoln was pretty excited about his rocks and terrarium.

After getting back home, Christmas jammies were quickly thrown on and a few pics taken, Cookies for Santa and food for the reindeer, and finishing up our nativity that Troy our elf had been leaving pieces every day for us. It was a great Christmas Eve. Christmas is magical and so exciting with kids!
