I wasn't quite sure what to expect this Halloween. We weren't sure if Baby #4 was going to have already made his arrival or not. We knew it was going to be somewhere around this day-- and Marci had been betting that he would be born on Halloween the entire Pregnancy. With him not coming yet, we went on our day as usual. Lincoln had his School costume parade so Marci walked up to the school to watch him in all his bat glory. Marci then took Cade and Norah over to the High School to do trick or treating there! Fun times and the kids got loaded with candy. Later that night, Adam volunteered to take the 3 older kids out Trick or Treating a bit while Marci stayed home and passed out candy to the trick or treaters. Marci was feeling good and no signs of labor all day. We had a great day...
Lincoln went to Nana's costume box and had been looking forward to being a bat for a few weeks. He was great at reenacting.
Norah had multiple costumes this year but decided on her old bumble bee costume from a couple of years ago! Good thing she is a cute little bee!
Cade didn't like keeping costumes on so really anything we tried on him would come off---- so The dinosaur jacket and tail was the best it was going to be for him. He at least kept the jacket on for most of the night.
Baby Brother was a little pumpkin in my tummy. I hadn't planned on a costume so last minute I cut some black construction paper out and safety pinned them on my inside out- too tight shirt. haha. He was part of our little pumpkin patch. Who knew that only in a couple of hours he was going to join our little family. I guess he just knew how much Marci did not want a Halloween baby.... so decided to stay in cooking until 12:45 am! It was the perfect Halloween and the perfect last day for us as a family of 5.
