November

By the look of pictures taken in November, Cade really stepped up his game and was as mischievous and busy as ever. This little one def. keeps us on our toes. The bathroom is still a favorite. He moved on from the toilet and realizes he can climb on the toilet, turn on the water to the sink and then play in it..... and why not grab a new roll of toilet paper and get it drenched.  Whenever we are at Nana and Pop's he loves the Desk.... and grabbing anything he can find on it.  I found Cade in our kitchen playing in the cupboards(which is a normal occurrence)... but this particular day when I walked in I noticed something different. He had found the sticky mouse trap pads!!  His hands were stuck on them. Man that stuff is sticky. A mouse would never have a chance of survival. After lots of scrubbing and consulting Google we got all the sticky stuff off Cade.  He still loves to make messes with his food.  When he decides he is all done, he promptly grabs anything that is still on his plate or tray and throws it off immediately.  Aagghh... messes everywhere.  He is also a champion Climber. The kitchen table is his favorite.  On one particular day as I was making pomegranate jelly and boiling tomatoes, I had my computer set up on the table, he climbed up and was getting ready to touch it and most likely throw it off the table, I had to run over and get him (of course at that very moment the pomegranate jelly boiled over all over the place!! Seriously.....  It was a huge sticky mess.  Oh the joys of trying to get stuff done with a busy 18 month old.

Lincoln had his 1st field trip to Staheli Farm. He enjoyed learning about the farm and seeing the animals, but mostly he loved playing the games and in the corn.  I got to go and help... it was fun to see him interacting with his friends and to spend time with my little guy.  When it was time to go home, I asked lincoln if he wanted to drive back home with me or ride the bus, of course he said, "Ride the Bus." That was def. a favorite part of the field trip... Bus rides are the best.

The rest of November we did the following:  Picked lots of pears and helped Pops check the gopher traps.  The kids always love going across the creek (and feeding the cows next to the trees all the old and bruised pears).
Lincoln isn't the cleanest of eaters.  He had a popsicle one day and I went out side to see his face covered in popsicle. He had no idea... so when I tried to get a pic he ran off.  It looks like he got his face all skidded up.
We also spent a night in PV with the Wells.  Lincoln had fun playing with Wyatt.
Lincoln also joined the 100 Club at school. He had been counting to 100 for awhile but at school he had only counted to like 30 something. When we were at Parent Teacher Conference and they were going over things Lincoln decided to show his teacher that he could count to 100!!  When they get to the 100 club they get to go to the teachers frig and pick out something. Lincoln was pretty excited about getting a mango flavored water.
We had a little get together for Pop's birthday.  Uncle Jordan planned it and we had a fun Minion Pinata that the kids loved breaking. They also loved helping Pops blow out his candles.  It then ended with a group hug around Pops.  We love our Pops!
