August

After we got back from our trip Marci headed up to SLC to go to Buffy's wedding. We have been friends since college so I was happy to go and it was so great to see her happy and to meet her special guy Shawn.  While I was in Northern Utah, the Annual Wittwer Retreat began. It was held up in Pine Valley. Friday night they had a dinner and line dancing.  I heard Norah was quite the little dancer and had a great time.  The kids always love the cousin time they get in Pine Valley.  

 Other misc. adventures in August.  Building huge towers with magnatiles..
-Loving the book Nibbles and making a cage for him to stay in at night.
Cade seemed to have grown into a little boy this month. He is constantly on the go and is our crazy busy boy.

 Lincoln had a big day and had his 1st day of Kindergarten. He was so excited.  He has Mrs. Davis for his teacher and loved all the minions in his new classroom. It is crazy to think that I had my first day of Kindergarten 29 years ago at the same school. Man I am getting old.  We Love Santa Clara Elementary.

 We also had a fun FHE at Josh and Whitney's house.  Lincoln and CLaire were the winners of the plate and spaghetti noodle race.  Blair and Cade just chilled all locked up in the stroller.
-The kids continue to take gymnastics and love it (well Lincoln loves it once he actually gets there).

 We also had lots of fun cousin time with the Thorleys.  They were still staying up at Nana and Pop's house so we saw them often. They are moving across town next to James and Izzy next month so we are def going to miss having them around when we visit nana and pops.

 Norah came over to me with what looked like a safety pin had been stick through her lip. Initially I wanted to scream..... but she wasn't crying about it at all so I figured something else was up.  Apparently she had got the safety pin wedged in between her two bottom teeth and couldn't get it out.  Silly girl. I was just grateful that is all it was.
