I love March and always have. Things start to warm up here in Santa Clara and of course it being my birthday month I have always been a little partial to it..... Now days---- 3 kids later---- and 3 kids birthday in the month make it a little more crazy and a little more busy. I love it all the same (Although I would highly recommend really trying to not have all your kids birthday within 10 days of yours. We had fun doing other non-birthday related things like.... Checking out the new Harmons Grocery STore here in Santa Clara. They have an exotic fruit stand and Lincoln especially loves to pick out a new fruit to try everytime we go. A few that we have tried so far are Star Fruit and Rambutans, both a success. Lincoln especially loved playing with the rambutan shell after the fruit was gone.
One day as I was looking for something in Lincoln's room, I went and opened his night stand drawer and found a whole bunch of food from the storage room that he had stashed away! I guess he wanted his own food storage.
We also have gotten outside a lot and planted our little garden. The kids helped Dad plant corn seeds and then we planted some tomatoes, peppers, and 1 cucumber. Uncle Royden planted a ton in the back so we didn't have to do much to enjoy all the fruits of his labors. After planting or watering one day the kids started a water fight with Dad and the hose! We (well mostly Adam) still gets to help feed the 4 horses and 4 cows. The kids still love playing on the tractor pretty much whenever. Our little farm backyard really is a little kids dream come true.
Lincoln also went to his first Wrestling tournament that was held after a week long SC Wrestling camp. He had a good time and was mostly just excited that he got a medal at the end. He his pretty good about not letting anyone pin him and we are still working on getting that aggression and fire. haha. He had fun wrestling with his friend Jake.
Norah's hair is still the cutest little crazy head around. When there is any moisture in the air it gets super curly and goes into the cutest little ringlets. If we lived in the south she would have the cutest little shirley temple bob..... but instead we live in the dry desert so it is usually a little stringy with some curls. She is cute regardless and I love those little curls of hers. It is finally starting to get long enough to put in pig tails or a ponytail.
We were moving beds around and putting norah in a big bed downstairs with Lincoln so we had the little bed upstairs with the mattress off. Cade of course was out exploring what this new thing was and got stuck in between the boards. He was not happy.
We were lucky enough to have Boston and Aunt Laura come and stay with us for 5 or so days. The kids LOVED having them around. We did lots of fun activities with them. Make and decorate sugar cookies, Snow Canyon Sand dunes, the Children's Museum, digging in the back yard, and mostly just hanging out! We love visitors. I am not sure how much Boston liked having Cade around though. haha. He wasn't in love with a little munchkin getting into all his stuff. It was too cute.
Lincoln got dressed all by himself this day and was pretty excited about is camo outfit! Off to pre-school he went.
Cade became mobile this month and started to take a few steps on his own. This has made it even crazier and busier for Mom and Dad with trying to keep him contained and not into everything. He is our busy little dude that loves to explore and tear anything he can reach.
Norah loves to be matchy matchy twins. Anytime anyone has the same color on as her she get super excited. So One day when she had on her gray shirt and jeans I told her I would be her twin.... of course we had to take pictures!
Now onto Birthday Celebrations!
