Lots of fun during February. Books are becoming new favorites around here thanks to our big collection of Usborne books and Lincoln is still LOVING everything that Pre-school has to offer. He has started to read and write a lot more. I find little notes around the house that just say Mom, Dad, or Lincoln on them. They are too cute. Norah has def. tested my limits this month. She is constantly changing her clothes, peeing or pooing her pants, not wanting to wear anything that is presentable, and really just being the miss independent that she is. She is already an opinionated little emotional girl. Love her. Norah also LOVES to match. So if anyone is wearing anything Iowa she has to go and find her Pink or Yellow Iowa Hawkeye shirt. It also started to warm up a bit so we have tried to get out a little bit. Playing in the hay in the barn and the tire swings are always favorites. Lincoln and Norah sure love our backyard and all the fun farm stuff it has to offer. Lincoln also found a snake (luckily it was dead)....... so he had to cut it in half and then bury it. We have also been trying to go on lots of walks. Often to Nana's house and often to the Park. We are really trying to soak up the nice weather before it gets too hot. The kids love the playgrounds and are getting more daring doing different things.
We also made a quick trip up to Northern Utah. Adam had meetings during the week, so I brought the kids up to meet him on Thursday afternoon when Linc got out of pre-school. Friday morning we went to the Provo City Center Temple Openhouse. What a beautiful and Amazing temple. Seeing what it has become after it was basically burned is miraculous. Truly a blessing. :) Lincoln loved all the amazing murals of the animals. (Norah was not feeling well. On the car ride down from Grandmas to the temple she threw up Green colored Lucky Charms all over!!) It was not a pretty site. Luckily it was only a one time thing and she seemed to feel better after that. After the temple we went over to BYU campus, ate at the cougareat, and Adam took us walking around campus a bit showing us his old stomping grounds. It was a fun day.
The next day Marci went out shopping while the kids and Adam went to the park to play. It was chilly and windy so they didn't last long. They also made a stop at Grandpa Glenn's gravesite. Later that night all the Butterfields came over and we had Pizza. The kids loved having Madi around pull them around. Great weekend in South Jordan.
