January

January everyday life was filled mostly with hanging out in the house, doing projects, reading books, wrestling, taking selfies, going to Josh's DSU basketball games, and just hanging out. Cade is still the messiest of eaters. He loves to stick something in his mouth, chew it partially up, spit it out, and then pick it up and eat it again.  Let's just say that after every meal he needs a clothes change.  It drives this mom a little bit crazy.  He also started to walk a lot with the little toy walker.   Lincoln and Norah have started to play really well together. I love watching their little imaginations come up with all kids of fun scenarios and games.  Oh and 1 quick story.  I had a new carton of strawberries in the fridge. Lincoln and Norah had gotten them out and taken the liberty to take 1 bite out of every single strawberry and then throw the rest in the garbage.  I found out by looking in the garbage to a pile of uneaten strawberries. So the Strawberry lover I am, I took them out of the garbage(it really wasn't too nasty), washed them super well.... cut the rest of them up and we ate the rest.  They thought they were pretty clever!

We also made a drive up to Zions for an evening!  We had a blast playing in the snow, going for a walk along the River (kind of a mix between walking and sliding).  We ended the night eating at Bumbleberrys Restaurant.

We then made a weekend trip up to Brianhead cabin to do some tubing, playing in the snow, and relaxing.  Lincoln Loved the tubes and he thought he won the race every single time down the hill.  Norah was all about the little tubes that go around and around. She was in there for the entire hour and ended up falling asleep. haha. too cute. Cade liked sitting in the tubes for a few minutes but then he would tip over and wasn't such a fan so he didn't last too long.  Lincoln could have played in the snow all day. He loved going out on the deck, digging caves with dad, and making snow angels. I love the snow for a day or two and was sure glad to come home to dry ground.  It was a fun weekend.
