We started off our Easter celebrations on Friday with the Wittwer's out at a park near Coral Canyon. It was a perfect evening-- Lincoln liked the egg hunt and playing on the playground but especially LOVED the cotton candy!
The next morning (Sat. the 30th) we went up to the Santa Clara Park for the annual egg(candy) hunt. This is the Hunt that I went to every year growing up as a kid. We loved it-- Lincoln was equally excited as he looked out to see the thousands of little candies scattered all over the grass. When they first said Go I think he was a little overwhelmed. He was just walking around looking at all the candy. Once he realized what to do he couldn't get enough and got a basket full of goodies- and he even got a prize egg(which he was happy to get a little bucket and shovel).
Our next stop was an Easter Picnic up in the Red Rocks with the Bartons. It was a HOT HOT day--- and as you can tell from the picture I do not look to comfortable. haha. When we first got up there I was feeling fine--- but after about a hour and a half into it I started feeling not so good. So we decided to head out early and so glad we did because as I was walking back to our car, contractions started getting pretty painful. If only I knew that little Norah would join us 5 hours later. :) Entire story to come!
My Grandpa and Grandma with some of their posterity behind them-- I love My Grandparents!
