I had the best girlfriends while attending Utah State almost 10 years ago (has it really been that long since we all met?) There were 8 of us that were close and have tried to stay in contact over the years. We all moved and lived in different parts of the country attending school, for jobs... but over the last year we have at least all made it back west (Idaho, Utah, California)..... we have always talked about getting all together for a weekend so we made it happen- and we had a blast! Whitney, Kim, and Kacey came from Idaho.... Sabrina, Melissa, and Jenni from Northern Utah... and Jo from California.... and we all met up at our condo in Brianhead on Feb. 15th and stayed through the 17th. We laughed and chatted the entire time-reminiscing on all the good (and bad) times at USU.
Jo, Kacey, Sabrina, Whitney, and Kim took advantage of the slopes and went boarding or skiing one day--- Jenni and Melissa were nice enough to stay back with my pregnant self. They looked like they had a blast boarding and I wish I could have gone with them!
I was spoiled though and they all threw me a surprise Baby shower! I got hooked up with some adorable girl stuff and played some fun games and mostly just had a great time!
We always loved to go all out on our birthday celebrations at USU so we had to celebrate Kacey's birthday (it was that weekend). We had a little surprise party with a pinata filled with some of our favorite memories at USU. Good times for sure.
I loved every minute of the weekend and am so grateful for each of these girls and the influence they have had in my life! They really did help shape me to be the person that I am today. Can't wait to do it again.
