It all began when my friend Blair texted me saying she had an extra ticket to a Red Sox game. I couldn't turn down the offer so I booked a plane ticket, and flew out to Boston for the game... all for the greatest team in Baseball, the Red Sox.... and yes it was def worth the trip. Things got even better when my friends suprised me with tickets to 3 games, not just 1. I was in Boston for 3 days and spent 3 evenings at Fenway. Nothing sweeter than that. Here is a recap of the highlights... there were many.
GAME 1: Straight from the airport Jo and I drove to Fenway..a few innings late but still loved every second of the game from the best seats ever, thanks to Blair. We got the honor of watching the Sox clinch a playoff birth. The Red Sox sure know how to celebrate. Lots of champagne and beer throwing by the players after the game. Many of the players went around shaking hands with the fans.
More game highlights: Youk homering, Papelbon closing, my bf that sat next to me singing "wild thing" with me, and of course getting wet by the champagne throwing of Varitek. I love seeing the players not playing baseball and with their families. It makes them more real and you see more of what their personality is like off the field.

Game 2: Back to our centerfield seats but still sweet, more singing of Sweet Caroline, and another 5-4 victory over the Indians.

Game 3: This game was the perfect ending to my time at Fenway. Another victory, Lester pitching, Papelbon closing, another Youk homer over the green monster, getting rightfielder, Mark Kotsay to acknowledge us every inning(which he did), having the older creepy men sitting in front of us loving all our comments and taking pics of us with them to send to one of the guy's fiance, our pal Jim that wanted to get a little more cozy with me than I wanted to, my bag of Fenway Kettle Corn, and my new Best Friend Billy Dunn (Red Sox Officer that guards the bullpen at each game) He gave me his business card and the ball that Papelbon used that day to warm up in the bullpen with. For all you Sox fans, you know who I am talking about... he is the one that pounds fists with all the pitchers as they head out to the mound. I would almost consider him a Red Sox legend. haha

So Yes I owe all these fine memories to my Blair and Jo. They made the games possible. THANKS GUYS!!
ps. I had to add this in cause it is not everyday that you see celebrities.
So I am in the Boston airport waiting for my flight to LA. Guess who comes walking up? PARIS HILTON and her boyfriend Benji Madden. Most people would care less but as sad as it is I was pretty in shock. haha. Pathetic I know to be 26 years old and excited to see a lame celebrity. They of course immediately walk into the first class lounge... but they have to come out to load the plane so I am on watch to get another glimpse and hopefully a picture. I didnt have any luck getting a very good picture when they came out (mostly because I didnt want to look like a crazy person obsessed with a non-important celebrity). I dont know if others didnt realize who this was or just didnt care, but there were only a few of us that had this same look of amazement. So over the next 6 hours this is what I learned about Paris:
1. She doesnt get dressed up to go flying at 6:00 am in the morning. She looked like the rest of us in the airport ... like we had just woke up.
2. She reads celebrity gossip magazines. As I walked by her on the plane she was reading "star" magazine. I am sure she was just trying to get the latest gossip on herself.
3. She doesnt carry her own bags. (As soon as they got off the plane they had someone waiting for them with a cart so she wouldnt have to pull her little carry on all on her own.)
4. She too uses airplane bathrooms. haha. (this makes me sound like I was watching her the whole time... but really I slept for most of flight but just happened to be awake when she got up to go to the bathroom)
5. Overall she seemed really chill and cool. I would love to be her friend.
When we got to LA there was absolutely no paprazzi around... except me cause I did manage to get a couple pics.. Just of their backs though cause like I said I didnt want to be one of the few people that looked crazy trying to get pictures.
As a whole my first trip back to BOSTON since moving away was a huge success.

Sounds like one of those trips you will never forget. Little Jealous.
WOW!! What a trip, I am also a little jealous. Plus you got to see Paris, I always look around when I am in airports hoping to see a celebrity but none as of yet... way to get a pic.
So you really are a Paris stalker! :0) Looks like it was a fun trip.
