This past week was great! Last weekend I got a huge spiritual boost. The Boston singles wards held an Education Conference for all of the Singles that are in the Northeast area. People came from DC, NY, Maine, Conn, and NH. The weekend was full of activities, classes, and socializing. The best part was that Elder Holland and his wife flew out to speak to us... not just once but three times. He is an amazing man and truely filled with the spirit of God. He was so down to earth and really just wanted to get to know each of us as individuals. He held a Q&A session with just the women that made me realize that he is just a normal guy that loves the Lord. During the sunday session he bore a firm testimony as to how much he loves us and how blessed we are to be able to have the Holy Ghost with us at all times. He really emphasized that we shouldnt under-estimate or under-rate what an amazing gift that is!! There were other great speakers like Jane Clayson Johnson, Bro and Sis Gary Crittendon and Bro and Sis Kim Clark. So many of their messages really hit home and made me want to become a better person....

The next big event was attending the broadway production of WICKED! It
was held at the Opera House (which is amazing in itself), and even though we were up on the balcony I still loved every second of it. Both Elphaba and Glinda had fantastic voices and Glinda was especially fun to watch. I would def recommend going to this show to anyone. I would see it again in a heartbeat. I never once got bored and didnt want it to end. Below are a few pics of me and my roommates at the show!

Me, Jo, and Kate! Love these girls.

There was one downpoint to this past week and that is the Red Sox have really let me down. For those of you that arent big Sox fans I will update you bit. The Red Sox are in the American League Conference Series playing the Cleveland Indians. We started of strong by winning game one, but it has been all downhill since then. We have lost the last three games so now we have to win the next three games to make it to the world series. I have been especially disappointed in Coco Crisp. He has had major major struggles. Well we will see what happens tomorrow... Go SOX!

Hey Marci, It sounds like you are having a blast in Boston. We are loving it here in St.George! It is so nice to have family so close. I do miss Logan though, I am sad that I won't get to drive up the canyon and see the leaves changing colors. But at least we won't freeze this winter. Anyway I hope everything is going good for you!
