New England Fall

Its that time of year when the weather starts to get cool and the leaves begin to change color. I had always heard how breathtaking the beauty is here in the Northeast but witnessing it first hand is even better. Lets just say that New England Falls are to die for. The weather was perfect this weekend(70s) so I took advantage of it all and enjoyed the beauty of that the Lord has blessed us with. Trisha and I decided to go apple picking. The drive there was so fantastic.... It is amazing to see the different shades of color on one tree. So we got to Phil's Apples in Harvard, MA and picked ourselves a few bags and just enjoyed the hometown atmosphere. Here are a few pics....

The colors of FALL! So Beautiful!

This weekend was also the 'Head of the Charles' Rigatta..... for all you westerners that don't know what that is.... it is a huge rowing competition on the Charles River that has been going for 43 years. Universities and other teams come from all over the United States come to compete. There are thousands of people lining the river cheering on the rowers. It is a really cool atmopshere and I am so impressed by the strength and endurance these rowers have. By the time I leave Boston my goal is to learn how to row.... maybe next summer I will have to take some lessons.

Some Rowers practicing up!

Jo and I enjoying the nice weather... we had t-shirts and shorts on!! You dont get that kind of weather very often at the end of October.. Lets just pray that it lasts another week or so.

Jo and I also went to Mt. Auburn Cemetery to see the city and the fall leaves. Downtown Boston is behind us in the picture.
