January started by doing all the last little things on our house so we could move in. We finally got approval to move in and are starting to make it our home. We love it and love having space!
We recruited Pops, James and Andrew to come and help us lay our sod! It was alot of work and we are so grateful for all the help that we received in everything along the way building our home. Building a house (being the General Contractor) is no easy task and took a lot of time and effort. But we love how our home turned out and feel like it was worth doing a lot of the dirty work to save some money. We still have lots of little projects to do but we are so happy to be moved in and a place to call our own.
All the kids still prefer the big dirt pile in our neighbors dirt lot., So much dirt all the time! Boys will be boys.
Cade and Damon were the first ones to try out Mom and Dad's new shower. They approved and I have a feeling there will be a lot more showers taken in here.
Cade finally is able to go to Preschool!! yay!! He had to work on potty training but he totally rocks now so he started going to Miss Janae's Little Patch of Heaven twice a week. He loves every second of it. HIS FIRST DAY OF PRE-SCHOOL year 1.
Donuts with Dad (and Norah)
Marci's good friend Jenni's Father passed away, so we took the whole family up so Marci could attend the funeral and support Jen a little bit. Melissa and Buffy all met up and it was so good to catch up and show some love to Jenni. I love these girls.
While up in Northern Utah, they got a lot of snow!! Grandma was a trooper and took them out to the park to play in it. These southern Utah kids love to play in the snow! We just dont get enough of it (according to them). haha.
We also went to the aquarium with Grandma and everyone loved exploring and checking out all the sea creatures.
Our cute little 100 year old Norah celeberated her 100th day of kindergarten by dressing up like the cutest little old lady around. She loved it.
Here she is with the rest of her old lady and old man friends. Mrs. Clayton reading them a story.
