January! New Year 2018

We always start off our month by celebrating another month with this little munchkin!  2 months old and loving the smiles. He is a very content baby, a great sleeper, and just perfect addition to our fam!
weight: 11 lb 12 oz (51%)
length: 23 inches (61%)

His older sibling just adore him and want to get their hands on in as much as possible.  Lincoln thought he was pretty big time being able to hold him and Norah loves the cuddles she gets.

We also had a quick trip to PV... the kids loved throwing snowballs!
January we ATTEMPTED to potty train Cade. We did the 3 day method and he was a champ.  I as praising and bragging about how he was the easiest of all the kids so far.  He had gotten the whole peeing in the potty thing down------ and then only a few days later all heck broke loose and he wanted NOTHING to do with going in the toilet.  He was peeing all over--- would poop and wipe it around and just had not interest in wanting to go on the toilet. So the diaper went back on after about a week.  It just wasnt worth the fight, and the cleaning up of poop. So we will try again when he is ready. Oh Cade he has a mind of his own.  But man his little bum sure looked cute in underwear.

He also decided he really likes baby brothers milk. If he finds some that was left in the bottle he is happy to take care of it by drinking it. haha.
He is my little buddy when the two older are at school. I love his zeal and spunk for life.  He is always wanting to do something and telling me about something.  Here he wanted to stop driving while we were on our errands and look at the temple.  Sweetest kiddo.

 And curious as well.
Being in Nana and Pop's house we get to do lots of yard work. Although we def don't keep things near as nice as we should (we just dont have time for that with little kids and a new baby), we still find time to get out and clean leaves, pick weeds, and try to keep things a little under control.

One evening we went out to Pizza Pie Cafe and the Wells just happened to be there as well. Lincoln was pretty excited to eat on his own table with Wyatt.  Bug kids just hanging out.
Lincoln really wanted to buy a coconut.  So we did, Dad drilled a hole in it and he was happy to drink it(well some of it.  It wasnt super tasty.

He also went with Dad to help take down Christmas Lights at the temple.  I think he was most happy with the donuts and hot chocolate when they were done.
We had a doctor appt and we caught Lincoln looking over the shoulder of an old man that was playing a game on his phone. I don't think lincoln was being too discrete about it.
Grandma/pa Barton had their Pecan tree shook and Cade and Lincoln were able to go over and help.

Of course Cade loved the marble run and had to take his turn.
The classic Grandpa looking out the window watching.
The kids all LOVE Dad and he gets so much attention  when he gets home from work.  Doggy Pile.
Norah is still the little piece of sunshine of our life. Always bringing happiness and smiles. We love our princess.
