Another year, another year of dirt farm fun and getting dirty. We were the only ones from the Wittwer side that went up there so although it was a little quiet on our little side of camp, there were plenty of kids for the our kids to play with and have fun.
Of course at the dirt farm you get plenty d irty. Lincoln, Wyatt, and Zhao were sliding down this hill. Now you understand how they are covered from head to toe in dirt.
Lincoln also loved collecting 'garbage and junk' that was left around. The kids built different forts and clubhouses with all the old metal, wood, and other goodies they found. Cade didn't mind the dogs that were there and wanted to be best friends with them.
Norah made a new 'best friend' Lily Gardner. It was fun to see her playing with another little girl her age... cause she is usually with the boys or older/younger girls.
The races of course were a favorite. Here are the 4 year olds.
and the 6 year olds.
Cade was a great spectator as well as participating a few times in any race he decided to join. ;)
We had the usual water balloon toss and other relay games.
It was a great weekend with extended family, the kids loved sleeping in the tent, and it is always fun to rekindle relationships and get to know a little more about our family history.
