Cowboy Cousin Camp at Pine Valley

The Thorleys were in town visiting from Texas, so Nana as the amazing Grandma she is put together the most fun few days for all the cousins!  It was Wittwer Cowboy Cousin Camp.  The kids were entertained and had a blast from the minute they walked in the door. The first had to get in the proper attire. They got to decorate a hat, get a bandana, sheriffs badge, and a mustache if they wanted.  Once they were all decked out it was picture time!

Of course there was lots of exploring and having fun outside making forts, playing in the dirt, and just playing.

We also went horseback riding and played some fun cowboy games- like drop the snake in the boot, shoot the cowboy off the tins, ring the stick, potato sack races, hit the balloon with a fly swatter, pool noodle horse races and more!

And of course we had a yummy cowboy dinner complete with dutchoven potatoes, chicken, biscuits, watermelon and salad.

We ended the first night with a FHE lesson and then smores around the campfire.
The next day, all the cousins went on a nature scavenger hunt and then did some fun nature crafts with all their treasures they found!

We cousin camp with a horse pinata!  The kids loved that and loved filling their bags with the goodies! The cousins had a blast just hanging out together and we all agree with have the best NANA ever!
