January

Our January began with more and more sick kids... Lincoln had been sick since Christmas Eve---- and just couldn't seem to kick it completely. New Years Eve came and I noticed Norah starting to get some of the same symptoms. Sure enough in the next couple of days Norah had nasty goopy eyes, cough, fever, and just wanted to cuddle.  Not the the formula for feeling well so we took her to the Doc and an ear infection in both ears was added to the list.  During this fun time I also was having to go in for a IV steroid infusion for a hour a day because of very small activity that was present in my latest MRI done on my brain. Not the funnest of daily activities.  Norah was put on a 10 day antibiotic-- and although a lot of her symptoms did go away she still wasn't her happy little self.  So in mid Jan. she had her scheduled 9 month appointment, which was perfect because her ear infections still had not cleared up completely. So she now had to get a shot once a day for 3 days.  Poor thing!!  Although we were lucky enough that after 2 days of the shot her ears were clear. Yay!  During the next couple of weeks, things were better but Linc and Norah still had a lingering cough that just didnt want to go away.   It is during these times that it makes me realize how blessed I am to have healthy strong bodies most of the time.... also have blessed we are to have access to modern medication and treatments for when our bodies have a slight hiccup in their perfection.  It truly are the times when we are weak that we are reminded how blessed we are!

The rest of the month Adam was busy, busy, busy with Work and Marci has learned that she stays busy with 2 kids although most of the time she's not sure what keeps her busy all day.  And both of us were still busy with YM/YWs- mostly Wed. night activities.  Adam was also able to go to Brianhead for the scouts' Klondike campout (although Adam bailed late in the night to go sleep in the warm condo).

Anything to keep this kid entertained. He loves Mom's laminater and watching things go in and out of it.
This is my, "I am going crazy cause I just want a full nights sleep" face.  We had many sleepness nights.
Daddy spoils Norah and Norah loves it!! Her she is tasting some ice cream.  She had no complaints- but I guess she is her Daddy's daughter. :)
There were a couple of days that were warm enough to go for bike ride, stroller walk! I love days like this because sometimes that is the only time I get out of the house that day.
Norah sleeping in Mom and Dad's bed... she seemed to like it better than her own for a few weeks.
Mr. Angry Pants.... we see this look all to often.  He sure knows how to throw a fit over very trivial stuff. I guess that is the life  of a 2 year old.
Lincoln has started to like to paint but he liked to stack the paint even more!
A trip to costco. Best part is that they can both comfortably fit sitting in the cart! Yay for mom and yay for being able to control Lincoln.
The last few months Lincoln has been obsessed with airplanes- whether watching the movie, "Planes", playing with his toy airplanes, going with Dad to watch Dad's boss airplane show, coloring airplanes, or making cardboard airplanes, Lincoln is one happy boy.
St. George has a new Children's Museum and it is awesome! Lincoln loves it all but especially the mechanics room,
 the grocery store,
and most of all the airplane! He spent the majority of the time dressed up like a pilot, sitting in the cockpit, and flying the airplane.  He was in little boy heaven.
 Lincoln always loves bathtime!
We had our annual pruning day over at the orchard... Linc and Andrew had fun hanging out in the back of the truck avoiding cousin Casey's HUGE dogs.
St. George City also had their yearly celebration of their birthday.  We went and had free rootbeer floats and then attempted to go swimming but as soon as we go to the pool they were clearing it out because someone had 'pooped in the pool' so instead we went home and enjoyed hanging out together as a family.

We had a great Jan. but were sure glad that it came to a close because I think we were finally(well mostly) healthy again!
