Being able to attend the Nauvoo Temple on a regular occasion has been one of the neatest and greatest blessings we experience while living here in Iowa. The temple itself is of course a place of peace, but also every time I look out from the temple stairs over the the little valley and across the Mississippi River, I am reminded of the wonderful Saints that sacrificed so much to make the church what it is today. It truly is a place of beauty and serenity.
I hadn't taken pictures since one of the very first times we attended the temple so I thought we were due for a few pictures.

Its so beautiful!
Oh I am so jealous you get to go there on a regular basis! I love church history and all of the amazing stories about the early saints. I want to go to this temple really bad....maybe we will have to make a visit. And...sorry this past week has been crazy..I will call you this week for sure and catch up! It was so good to hear your voice on my voicemail!
So Lucky. I went through before it was dedicated and it is a beautiful temple, I would love to go through a session, I'm jealous!
