Marci Nutrition Conference in Philly!

A couple of my college friends from Utah State invited me to go to the yearly Food and Nutrition Conference in Philadelphia, PA.   We all needed continuing education credits so we thought why not go somewhere fun and have a little girls getaway!  We spent most of our three days in the conference learning all things nutrition but we made sure to get out and see the city a bit too! It was so fun to catch up with Erica and Devrie! It had been almost 15 years since we had graduated from the Nutrition program together.  Time Flies!

 Had to get a famous Philly Cheese Steak- It was good but next time I wont get fake american cheese. haha.  It was such a fun get away.  I learned a lot, got some good continuing education requirements in, and had the best time exploring with Devrie and Erica. 

September- PV, FIshing in Enterprise, Swiss Days

We headed to PV or cooler weather and to Celebrate Labor day!!  Fun with cousins, shooting bow and arrows, finding snakes, riding horses, and sack races.  Adam was a clear winner but about killed himself doing it. ;)    

DADS 40th BIRTHDAY!! He is he best. LOVE YOU ADAM. 

It may not have been a celebration worth remembering but we love you to the moon and back and couldn't imagine life without you.  May 40 be the best year yet.  

 Boulevard Home Furnishings changed their name and rebranded their image to BlvdHome. We had to take pics at the new storefront.  Good job guys. 

 Lincoln and Norah had a run-a-thon for their school to earn money.  They both did a great job but Norah ran the whole time and earned more than her goal.  Good job Lincoln and Norah.

SWISS DAYS!

 Getting ready for the 5k. This was the 1st year Marci was in charge of it all so she didnt get to run with everyone.  We had a huge turnout though- bigger than ever and things went very smoothly.  Success!  We then of course watched the parade, and both BLVDHome(with Pops,Tyler,andRylee) were in it, and Dad set up the float(machines) for Sunroc.    AFter the parade we got our faces painted,  Lincoln did the pie eating contest and we had fun with all the other games and activities.
