Our Amazing, Beautiful Kids

It was time for our yearly Christmas card picture and we hadn't taken a thing.  So while Adam was at work, I got the kids all dressed up, looking pretty and handsome, and headed to the back yard for some quick shots. Well I thought it would be quick. After some good yelling, bribes, and smiles we finally got 1 or 2 decent shots.  Although secretly all the outtakes are my favorite.

Lincoln-- age 6

Norah- age 4 She was willing to pose and smile for me all day!

Cade- age 2. My favorite busy body who does not like to look at the camera. He made for taking pictures an adventure.

Damons 1st month.

Because I am too cheap to get newborn pictures taken... I thought I could at least get a few snapshots of our new little man.  So here he is in all his cuteness at 3 weeks old.  He is the BEST baby and we are already smitten by him.

The rest of this guys first month was a success.  We of course had to get him in the Hawkeye wrestling singlet and take pictures on our blanket wrestling mat.

He is pretty good at sleeping..... already sleeping through the night his first month. YAY!  Brownie points for him.

The kids love taking care of him and taking turns holding him.

This was the 1st and only family picture that we have so far.  haha. Real life thats for sure.  Getting 6 tired kids that are all 6 and under to look at the camera is nearly impossible.   hahaha

Cade seems to be ok with Damon most of the time. I think he is mostly enjoying all the free time that he has to cause a little more mischief. We are always finding funny random things that Cade has done.

Damon sure loves his Daddy already.

His first bath... although he looks super uncomfortable he didn't seem to mind it too much once we kept the warm water running on him.

Norah was happy to share one of her dolls with him.

November musings!

The beginning of November was an exciting one for us with Damon being born on the 1st. As soon as we headed to the hospital we called Grandma Penny and she drove on down to be with the older kids... She got here late morning time and the kids had fun with her for a couple of days. She took them to the temple to run around and explore a little bit.

The rest of November was pretty low key. We stuck around the house pretty much and enjoyed our time with Damon and trying to stay healthy as winter was arriving.  Nana and Pop's house has their fair share of leaves!  So of course after Adam had raked them into a big pile the kids had to jump and play in them.

Lincoln and Norah made a 'tee partee' for us at the 'tee dinosaur.' It consisted of goldfish, honecombs, and water.  Love these kiddos.
They are always coming up with goofy costumes and creations.
 We all love our DAD!

Lincoln is such a good big brother. Mom was home with Damon so Lincoln took charge and made sure that Norah made it to class.
Mom and Norah were able to sneak away on a warm Sat afternoon and go on a little date to the splash pad, merry go round, and to get Frozen yogurt. I didn't think the water would even be running, and if it was that it would be too cold to get in.... but surprisingly It wasn't too bad and Norah loved running around in it.

Also at Norah's preschool they got to watch Snakey their snake have lunch. :)
The sunday before Thanksgiving we invited all the Wittwer clan over for a pre-Thanksgiving Dinner because everyone was going to be together for actual Thanksgiving. We love Cousin time and good food!

On Thanksgiving Day, Roy and Diane invited us over to their house for a yummy meal! It was nice day, relaxing, good company, and overall just a good day. Blair and Cade sure had fun on the trampoline.
