December

December was a busy one.  We were finishing up on our new home- trying to move in as soon as possible.  We didnt make it in for Christmas but hoping in Early January.  So Nana and Pops let us stay in the basement-  And we loved being there for Christmas.  We made sure to fit in all our favorite holiday activites.
-Damon also learned what it means to be a toddler.  MAKING MESSES OF EVERYTHING!
Norah and her friend Emery taking advantage of Nana's dress ups.
Building Gingerbread houses is always a favorite.
The kids loved helping rake all the leaves.  Although I think they had more fun playing in them and helping Pops get them off the roof and out of the gutters.

Norah had her 'Polar Express Christmas Program'  She loved her train, she did such a great song singing the songs, and we enjoyed hot cocoa and treats after.  Love little kindergarteners.

Santa Visited Kindergarten

Claire slept over with Nana and Pops. She woke up super early, Damon also wasnt feeling well so he was up at the crack of dawn, so she read stories to him.
We love visiting the temple at Christmas.

Our visit to Santa was at Frei's Fruit Market.  Everyone did pretty good.  Cade was only kinda shy.

For our Wittwer Christmas Party this year, we had a 'Sockin' around the Christmas Tree' PArty.  We all had to wear crazy socks, we brought Socks to donate, ate dinner, exchanged gifts, and played a fun Gift Auction game.  It was so fun!!

Grandpa Great June was a good sport for putting up with his daughters and making him dress like an elve.
The weekend before Christmas we headed up to Northern Utah to see cousins and Grandpa and Grandma.  We met the Winns and Grandma at Temple Square, had our Christmas party and gift exchange, and went to a light show drive.  The cousins loved every second of being with cousins.  Now onto Christmas.

November - Damon Turns 1

Our baby turned 1 years old.  Damon it has been so fun to see you transform into a little toddler. This kid emulates happiness and always has a smile on his face.  With November 1st being his birthday and him turning 1---- it was his Golden Birthday.  He is our Golden boy. ;)  At least for the day.  We had a pretty relaxed family party with presents and cake/ice cream.  He wasn't shy about his birthday cake once he got going.  Linc, Norah, and Cade had fun watching him get all dirty and enjoying is sweets.  Damon was pretty happy to be getting all the attention, which doesn't happen as much being the 4th child.  We LOVE our Damon and couldn't imagine are home with out his little ray of light.  He has started to take a few steps but yet to take off.  He does the cutest little gorilla crawl where he walks on all fours.  He doesnt say much at all but is good at grunting.  He still loves his light blue/zebra blanket more than anything and will cuddle immediately if you have it.
He still sleeps in mom and dad's room in the little mini pack and play.  He isnt going to know what to do when he gets a full size crib once we move into our house.  We love our curious little Damon!
Happy 1st Birthday buddy.

 Other November happenings..
Lincoln took part in a storytelling festival where he memorized a book and then told it dramatically.  He chose the book, "The Little old lady who wasn't afraid of anything."  He did awesome. We were so proud of how brave he was and what a great job he did.  He even volunteered to do it in front of his class!
We are getting so close to move in date.  This is one of our first feasts (little caesars) in our new home.  The walls are painted and just waiting on floors at this point.

Lincoln and NOrah have loved doing 'art for kids hub' where they follow step by step instructions on how to draw all kinds of things.
It has been fun being in the basement with Nana and Pops upstairs. The kids here are learning the art of peeling and drying apples.  They were pretty entertained by it all.
Our busy boy Cade is still keeping us on our toes---  You never know what you are going to get from this kid.

Norah has been the best helper with Damon. She loves to help feed him anytime she gets the chance.  She also learned all about missionaries in primary and her teacher sent us the cute picture of her being a sister missionary.

The kids went and helped at 3 mile clean up. I don't know how much cleaning they did, but they had fun climbing the mountains.

Norahs School Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was held in PV this year.  We were surprised with Snow during our Turkey Trot.  The kids still wanted to ride their bikes-- and they had a blast.  It was cold and by the end Cade and Damon were freezing being in the stroller.
Uncle Jordan taking a turn on Norahs bike.

We had dinner at the branding iron again. Norah wasn't impressed at all with all the yummy food.  I don't think she ate much of anything.
Pops with some of the grandkids.
More fun with cousins at the cabin. The cabin is def. one of our favorite places to be together as a family. WE are so grateful for all that we have been given!
