Town Square with Cousins

We spent a fun afternoon at Town Square river and splashpad with Erin, Jackson, Rylee, and Channing.  The kids always love this place!

Norah was trying to figure out where the water came from--- it's a good thing that particular sprayer didnt go off right as she was looking in.
Norah, Lincoln, Rylee, Random boy, Channing, and Jack

I think it wore them out because by the time I pulled into our drive way this is what I found.

Easter Weekend!

We had a fun Easter weekend! Adam headed to Vegas to watch a wrestling tournament on that Friday and Sat. so we missed him at many of our festivities--- but we still had a great time.  (I know he had a great time as well and had fun catching up with some of his buddies that were there).
We started our Easter fun on Friday night with the Wittwers. We had a picnic potluck and then an egg hunt. Lincoln got a whole basketfull--- although he was only supposed to get 10-- but Norah was happy with the 1 egg that Nana threw in her lap.

Sat. afternoon we headed up to the Red Cliffs and had our yummy and hot easter picnic lunch. Norah LOVED all the dirt. She was perfectly content just playing in the red sand- even when Lincoln and Andrew would dump sand all over her head.  By the end of the afternoon she was a red head.

Next up was the egg hunt. We hide all the eggs in all the crevasses and bushes, It is always a fun hunt for the kids.  Once again Norah was content with one egg.. Lincoln did a great job at spotting out the eggs.  Here are all the kids (and the one big kid(Pops) before the hunt began).
 And they are off---

After the hunt, all the kids empty the candy out of the eggs and then dump the plastic eggs down the red rocks. Lincoln loved it. He was standing at the bottom and he got so excited as all the eggs came rushing down to him! I think he thought they were still full of candy and he was going to get more!

Norah found a bag of chips opened and helped herself. I think she liked what she tasted! OH and can you tell she loved getting dirty. Not my best idea to have her in white.

I love my Grandpa and Grandma!  All of my wonderful Barton family because of these two amazing individuals! I love that they still made the hike down to celebrate with us!

The next day(Sunday) and actual Easter we went to church and then after church we had our own little Easter egg hunt in our backyard because Adam wanted to see Lincoln find some eggs because he missed the previous two hunts. So we reused the same plastic eggs and Adam filled them up with pretzels, marshmellows, a dandelion, and some of the candy we got from before. It was pretty funny watching Lincoln open some of the eggs to see what he had found.

April...

Oh how I love this time of year in St. George!  It is the perfect weather to spend lots of time outside..... so that's what we did! Lincoln loves our dirt backyard.
 Two cute naked kids!
 Baseball season started!
Here Norah wasn't so sure of the grass.   So Pops came and saved the day.
I did a fun hike with my Young Woman to Snow Canyon. It always amazing me with it's beauty!
Lincoln sharing his ice cream--- Norah didn't mind one bit!
 Hot day at the park!

This was the first time we went to the splash pad--- Andrew and Lincoln weren't quite sure what to do.
We have Loved having Andrew over every Thursday while Izzy is teaching class.  These two cute boys keep me busy and are so fun! Here they are making sure our lawn is green and trimmed.
We all LOVE to ride bikes.  It is a daily activity--- Lincoln rides his bike while I push Norah up to Nana and Pops house to say hi.  On Thursdays, Andrew started bringing his bike so he could ride as well.
Usually they do pretty good but sometimes they get tired and want to get in the stroller(especially up the big hill). So there have been times when I get quite the workout going up the hill. 2 little boys, 1 little girl, and both their bikes all in the stroller. haha.
On one of our rides they found this cute little miniature gnome village.  They loved looking at it and didnt want to leave.
Once we get to Nanas we usually visit and play for a hour or so. Before we leave it usually ends with a "Poki" stick or two.  (They are flavored cracker sticks that Nana and Pop's got from Thailand.) Norah likes the Pizza ones and Andrew and Lincoln usually request the strawberry and chocolate ones.  It is usually my bribery to get them headed back to our house.
We always enjoy when we get together for dinner with cousins. Here is the little boy table.
And here is Nana's birthday cake!  Lets just say that I don't think that Nana got a chance to blow her candle out. She had way too many helpers!  We love Nana!
Norah has really started to LOVE all kids of foods this month. Pretty much anything you put in front of here she scarfs down..... and best news is that she finally got a tooth!! our little one year old got her first tooth! Yay!
She also has started walking quite well. Still a little uneasy on her feet but she is started to be more confident.
Lincoln and Andrew are learning to share. They both wanted to ride on Dusty--- so they decided to ride together.
Oh and this picture is awesome right-- haha not.  But I wanted to document that we got a video monitor to put in the kids room. I have been wanting one in forever because we havnt been very successful at putting the kids to sleep at the same time cause they just play. So I wanted to know when one of them was really asleep so I could put the other one in... Also during Lincoln's quiet time he is always doing something interesting... so now I can check in on him. It is actually quite entertaining and funny to watch the things they do behind closed doors.
We also made it to Pine Valley one weekend to do some clean-up. These boys love the tractor.
Andrew and Lincoln testing out the new horse tire swing.
Lincoln and Norah loved the little galoshes!
We also had a great and busy Easter--- a whole post to come will be about that!
